One of my favorite bars in Denton, their drinks are really cheap, they offer a wide selection of drinks, they always have some sort of theme for the holidays and I've been lucky to go during winter and Halloween and had some of their seasonal drinks, their food is okay but it's the bar life that I love and had some good times there.

Completely wasted my and my guests' time. It was recommended by a veteran as his choice for dinner and we went. They would not serve us even though we were not drunk. I was the DD and was completely sober. I have also been tabc certified multiple times in my years. My first experience was my last. I will not return while the staff delivers such biased service.

I got breakfast at Jupiter House and wanted to sit outside but no seats, so I saw an empty green mesh bench and sat down. Some dude says "Sorry, we're closed" and points out that the bench belongs to Holligan's, which is under construction, and that I am not allowed to sit there. I met my wife at this place. Prior to that, I used to hold business meetings at this place. Never have I known them to be so elitist that they wouldn't let one dude sit there and eat a bagel while they are closed for renovation during a pandemic. What a bunch of snobs. There are way better and more hospitable bars in the area, like Loophole, Eastside, and that beer garden on Oak Street. And Loophole has awesome food too.

The ? bartender was very friendly. A good selection of sides, fried pickles, fried ? apple pie and many more. Located in a cool part of town. Only problem parking can be a little tight at primetimes.
Tonight my husband and I decided to try this place and it was by far the worst mistake! I ordered fish & chips with onion rings and my husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger with seasoned fries that were not seasoned! My fish was absolutely disgusting! The oil they used to fry it in was bad and the tarter sauce was gross. Not to mention we had piss poor service from the waitress. She was on her phone the entire time hiding by the kitchen area. Once she brought our food out she disappeared to visit with her friends that came to sit by the bar. Finally asked us if we were ready for the check and brought it to us. My husband pulled out his card to pay and we waited and waited for her to come by and pick it up. She stayed hanging out with her friends and flirting while us the paying customers sit there and wait as if we are on her time! I can't believe the poor service and terrible food we experienced tonight. This is the worst place I've ate at in Texas! We will not be back and as far as I'm concerned Hooligans needs John from Bar Rescue to pay a visit!

Got served by the Gorgeous Wonderful Ms.Bee , she was patient with me since I haven't been out in a while and had forgotten mixed drinks/shots. Last time I was at holligans was easily 3 years ago. I will be back because of the service I was previded. THANK YOU BEE ❤️
