Chick seems to not know what a real ID looks like. Turned away a 24 year old tonight without properly checking her ID. Maybe she needed to feel powerful? Regardless, super ridiculous since the old IDs are extremely hard to fake if you know what you’re looking for. This is coming from a bartender of 7 years. Maybe it’s time to retake your TABC :(

My friends and I came here after work to blow off some steam and play pool. One of my coworkers came in a little later than the rest of us and was denied service because of a “fake ID”. Weird because I celebrated her 21st birthday with her three years ago. The bartender seems to be young and uneducated but that’s no excuse for the uncomfortable and unwelcoming vibes she was bringing tonight.

I’ve had some negative experiences at Jacks but since Shane joined the staff it has been a big change. He brings so much positivity and always makes sure customers are happy and taken care of. LOVE THAT MAN

I’m an out of towner that was looking for dinner with a good draft dos XX and some live music. I found all 3 at jacks! Meatball sandwich was amazing. Beer was cold. All the staff were super nice!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jack’s Tavern is home base for my dart team in Denton, and it’s a great place for league nights or just hanging out. They’ve got free darts, free pool tables, cornhole, video games, and plenty of other ways to stay entertained. The drinks might be a little pricier, but the food is good, and they mix things up with karaoke nights and live bands that make the atmosphere even better.
What I like most is that Jack’s feels like more than just a bar—it’s a spot where teams, friends, and families can all feel welcome. If you’re in college and want to bring your parents out for a night, this is definitely one of the better choices compared to other bars in town. All around, it’s a fun, friendly place with something for everyone.

The crowd can be uneven, and it is not the best place, but it's definitely a decent place to go hang out with friends.
Chill times and good times. Love karaoke on Mondays! This is a fun place to hangout at. The pizza is awesome!

My nickname is Jack so I thought it was appropriate to visit Jack’s Tavern for a quick drink while dealing with a toothache. Even though I wasn’t there long, I had a good experience. The place was clean, had a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Even though it was late and almost closing time, they still took the time to chat and even recommended another spot nearby for my wife and me to check out. It’s always nice to come across bartenders who are actually pleasant, which isn’t always a given. I appreciate the hospitality and would definitely stop by again.

The bartenders are awesome, diamond pool tables, and pool is generally free. Super laid back environment. My favorite place to go when I’m home from college
