If you want a refined dining experience with a waiter and cloth napkins, keep looking. This is simple comfort food served hot with an unlimited supply of paper towels. There is limited seating inside in the air conditioning. The majority of seating is outside in the shade. Service was Texas style, courteous, and fast.

My first visit here. Prices are a little out there. Ordered the Whole Pig plate ($30) with brisket, ribs and sausage with beans and smoked mac-n-cheese as my sides. Everything had good flavor other than the mac-n-cheese.... it had a really odd twang to it that I just didn't care for. The beans were pretty good and ribs were amazing but the sausage seemed a little dry and the brisket was cut with the grain instead of against it which made it a little tough to chew. I'll...

Can't say enough good things about this place. I was really craving some BBQ and so glad I found this place. It really hit the spot! The ribs were phenomenal! Brisket was so juicy and tender. My favorite was the Mac and cheese! Didn't taste like that fake liquid goo or powdered cheese stuff. It was real legit Mac and cheese with some flavor too! I definitely recommend this spot and I will gladly stop again if and when I'm in Denton again
