I have enjoyed spending time at Kava Denton. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The environment is nice and chill. I’ve always felt welcomed and have met some really nice people and pets ! This place is great, and …buy the growler…you’ll want to treat yourself at home too.

I love Kava so much. It's my favorite coffee bar in Denton. They have the most comfortable seating, they are generally quite, 100% vegan friendly, and they offer a variety of legal mood or mind-altering options, such as Kratom shots and Delta-8 drinks and cookies. They even have a little free library inside. They are often greatly understaffed, but the clientele is very understanding and is willing to wait for the poor barista to catch up to everybody's orders.Vegetarian options: This place only offers vegan or vegetarian options, is my understanding.

Kava Bar is a lovely amalgamation of a bar and a coffee shop all at once. The vibe keeps social like a bar, but typically (during the day) folks aren't too loud, like a busy coffee shop. The staff are A+, I'd call them out but each one is a gem! Many are new to Kava and Kratom, the staff are quite knowledgeable and will help you find a delicious drink that perks you up or chills you out depending what you get! Enjoy a mild buzz without imbibing alcohol! I get a double crushed red elixir (red vein Kratom) with coconut creamer & caramel ? A unique and charming alternative bar!Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and there are plenty of non-buzz drinks for kiddo's like pomegranate ginger beer (nonalcoholic) or juices.

My favorite place to relax, laugh and enjoy the variety of teas it offers. I love everything starting with the staff all the way to the people who go to this non-alcoholic bar. Who needs alcohol when you got Kava? P.S. Adan (the kava-tender) makes great creations!

A great learning, social, and emotional experience. This herbal bar venue is a much needed deviation from the myriad of bars and coffee shops you can find near any downtown area. This place has plenty of space and seating to fit the impromptu or planned meet up. Good for first dates or old roommates. The drinks are very tea-like and the kava very earthy. The benefits of which are well documented and great for those looking for organic and pure refreshments without exception. They also offer several other drinks that can quench your thirst and chill your mind.Offering music and good vibes this is the good place for a down time.

The best place to hang out at! As someone who is sober and doesn’t drink anymore this is the place to be at! Whether it is being by yourself to read or just to be social. Everyone here is absolutely amazing! If I could give 100 stars I would

Games, great people, free WiFi, lounge spaces. What more can you ask for? I wish they had a closer location in Dallas, I would spend all of my money here with my wife, as we're both non-alc. Please, please consider East Dallas/WRL as a second location people around here would love a place to hang out that isn't a "traditional" bar!!

This place changed names. Same great place. Even better. The color tenders are super nice and well knowledgeable. Come check this place out under its new branding. I've been to over 80 kava bars throughout the us. And their drinks are amongst the top.

I have been here once and truly loved it. The atmosphere and drinks were amazing. However, being someone that does not live relatively close to Denton (30-40 min drive), driving all the way here just to see a “temporarily closed” sign on the door is a big let down. I really want to come here again because I loved it, but don’t know when I can because their posted hours don’t seem to line up.

When I first tried their kava and other drinks, it was a great experience and I the barista was very nice, don’t get me wrong. But I’m giving this place a 1 star until they change the hours on Google. They’re NOT open, they’re “temporarily closed” with no explanation. It’s been incredibly stressful the past two weeks and I really wanted some kava here only to find that it was closed both times I’ve came here, because they don’t have any indication online or on the door as to when they’ll open again. “Sorry for the inconvenience” isn’t gonna cut it for me, especially for someone who has to travel far to get to UNT Denton and doesn’t have the luxury to come and go whenever I please. Especially during this past week, I DO NOT tolerate anyone wasting my time.

If you are looking for a relaxing experience or somewhere to chill with friends, this is the spot! The Churro Cha Cha is my favorite drink , and the revolving on tap drinks are interesting. Overall, what a welcoming environment!

I LOOOVVVEEE this Kava shop. I will make special trips out to Denton just to come here. It's always a nice vibe in there with heartfelt service. They do a cute ritual shot with newcomers. They offer a lot of great alternatives for people that are living a sober life and let you taste test different drinks.
