Our 1st time trying this place. We haven’t had any luck with finding a good sushi place since living in Denton for 5 years. Restaurant is clean and neat. Sushi chefs are Japanese which is a plus point. Servers can be a little bit more friendly. We ordered miso soups, a deep fried roll, salmon and tuna sashimi. The order came with salad. The salad didn’t look appetizing to me. The miso soup and deep fried roll were ok. The best part that we came for is the Sashimi was so so fresh. We would come back for the sashimi. Maybe just personal reference, we don’t like rolls with too much sauce on them.

My son and I were looking for sushi near 288 and stumbled across Koji. The reviews were good, so we decided to check it out. We were greeted promptly and seated. We were brought side salads with ginger dressing (which I love) right away, along with our drinks. Service was great, decor is nice, good atmosphere, and great food. My son even ordered a second roll. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you!Photos are my crunchy shrimp tempura roll. ?

First time visit was for dinner this evening. Ambience simple but tasteful; clean and quiet. Sushi was excellent; very fresh, skillfully prepared, and beautifully presented. Red Rose roll and Tuna Salmon Heaven roll were superb. Service was friendly and efficient. 5 stars!

We ordered appetizers before dinner. Dumpling - Deep fried pork dumpling with Dipping Sauce. Very nice taste and crunchy. Avocado Bomb - Deep fried avocado w spicy tuna and crab. All the flavors blended really well. Beef Teriyaki Bento - Beef, topped with house teriyaki sauce Indudes shrimp & veggie tempura, salad with ginger dressing, miso soup, steamed rice, California roll. Nice sauce and tender beef. Shrimp Teriyaki Bento - Shrimp stir-fried, topped with house teriyaki sauce Indudes shrimp & veggie tempura, salad with ginger dressing, miso soup, steamed rice, California roll. The shrimp were cooked just right and flavored well. They gave us a sample of the Cutie and it was awesome. We ordered one to go! Cutie Roll - Special crab, avocado wrapped In cucumber with ponzu sauce. Really good flavors. Food was served fresh and hot. Very flavorful. We will be back!

My wife and I came to visit and loved it. The service was excellent. Our server gave great recommendations. She was very attentive to all in the restaurant. Once the drinks come, you are served a salad with a delicious ginger dressing. When the sushi came out, WOW!! OUT OF RHIS WORLD!! FRESH Ingredients, amazing flavor, textures all around. We are DEFINITELY coming back. We were even given 2 pieces of complimentary sushi, even THAT WAS AMAZING! DON'T SLEEP on this AMAZING place!!! Please just save me a seat!!

The ambiance is wonderful, the servers are nice, the sushi chefs give amazing energy off--1,000 stars, easy. The sushi is impeccable. I'm really critical of it and I've tried all the listed sushi places in Denton-- Koji Sushi is the clear winner by a landslide. The business is new, and the menu is long (I think it's a good thing! There's something for everyone!), but this place is golden. I'll probably go every week if I can. And the picture below, yeah, it LITERALLY melts in your mouth. Perfection
