Delicious Mexican cuisine! They can get packed very quickly, which can slow down service, but food is still quick and amazing. We go often for breakfast, but enjoyed the live music on a Friday night.
If you’re looking for a great spot for real Tex Mex food look no further. La Fondita has been my go to for my “Mexican” food cravings for years now. They use amazing ingredients and the chefs always deliver on their dishes. Wouldn’t change a thing!

Talk about a hidden gem! This place made the best Mexican I’ve had in Texas without a doubt! Run, don’t walk, to this place and know you are eating the best of the best!Clean tables/chairs, spotless restrooms, service you can rely on, and food that will have you asking for more even after your are full and all at a price point that won’t hurt the bank account.

Small little hole in the wall Mexican food restaurant. Has a huge television hanging on the wall. Soccer was on when we visited. Fair prices. Located in Denton. Seems college students attend as well . Small bar as well. Fixing up adult beverages. Margarita was one seller. Good came out surprisingly quick . Staff members were very nice and friendly as well. The tacos, and Carne Asada was a nice size serving .

This place is amazing. Breakfast tacos by the best thing to eat here in the morning. Had there Pancho box and you get so much food you can feed 2 or More people. Would highly recommend if you want good Mexican food. They never disappoint me every time I order from here. The people are nice every time I’m here.

Stumbled across LA Fondita during a stressful day of house hunting and was perfect spot to relax. The staff was so nice, the food was amazing, Golden Burrito was a surprise. Very good salsa and their verda sauce was great. With their full bar and small entertainment stage, we will be back with friends for more than food. Great hidden gem in Denton, highly recommend. Nothing fancy, just good across the board..

The tacos they gave me were very simple as they were from trompo. I also ordered a michelada and it didn't taste like anything, it just tasted like crap and apart from bad service, expensive for what they offer.

This place is about a 12 minute walk from my house. I stepped inside for an order of chips and queso (bowl) to bring home with me.It might be the best queso I've had in a long time. The chips were great as well. Even their salsa was good, and I'm not much of a salsa person.The lady behind the counter didn't say much, but she wasn't rude or anything. I liked the atmosphere of the place, and even after the 12 minute walk back to my house, the queso was still nice and hot. I'm definitely going to be going back to try more things in the future.
