We eat here at least twice a week. It's very, very good. They are owner-operated and it's very obvious by how well their restaurant is kept and how bomb the food is. The meat market inside is great as well. The marinated meat is awesome or you can get nearly any cut you want if you call ahead and order it. Highly recommend!

I went there for my first time today and ordered the pork tamales. I had gotten two tamales to go. Both tamales had long black hairs in them. I won't eat there again.

One of the few places in town where you can still get a $1 street taco, on Tuesdays only of course. The tacos on Tuesdays are the same size and are just as delicious when they are not $1. Quality goodness all the way around, you won't be disappointed.

I just moved in next door to La Laguna this month and I'm glad they are friendly and our best neighborhood store.They are always super nice and have a variety of everything fresh especially from the kitchen the food is super delicious.Im Cuban and they have Cuban Maltas and soft drinks which is rare to find!They also trusted me(being new)to be able to cash my payroll checks at a great low price.Anyways,i go there everyday and im never disappointed.I extremely highly recommend you visit,you won't be disappointed!Manny Negrete?

food is so amazing , the tortas are the best ive had. On top of amazing customer service, twice now ive ordered and went out in my car to waiting, figured id go check in in a few minutes to grab my food and they brought it out to me before i could even get out.

We tried this place today, we ordered 2 Birria plates, an asada plate, and a Barbacoa taco. The Birria consume has a good flavor but the meat in the taco was bland and chewy, not tender. The barbacoa was tough and even after adding salt was lacking flavor I dipped it in the consume. Overall I would give a 3. I expected fresh, tender meat if nothing else since the meat market is right there. Made me wonder if I'm eating meat that has been reheated several times as the meats that should be tender was tough or chewy. The refried beans was bland and the rice was as well with a scorched taste. If the Asada was fresh it would have been good the meat had a good flavor it was just tough.

I bought a dozen tamales today. 9 pork and 3 jalapeno/cheese. They were generously sized but not very flavorful. I also bought some fajita seasoned chicken for a meal next week. I look forward to trying that.

I’m new to denton and tried this place out after many recommendations. They have amazing chicken al pastor tacos and delicious barbacoa tacos as well. Possibly the best tacos I have ever had. I can’t wait to come back here! Be prepared to speak a little spanish.

Our son and daughter-in-law ordered for their wedding reception : 27 lbs of meats (beef, chicken and pork) with rice, beans and tortillas (also came with 2 different sauces, onion, limes & cilantro). The food was fresh, flavorful, plentiful and everyone enjoyed it all! Thank you for making their day so memorable!

Awful! Bought a pound of Carne Asada, and it was full of gristle, bone, tendons and inedible pieces. Literally, every bite had something we could not chew. I know it's not filet mignon, but try to trim the meat a little before you cook it. I wouldn't give it to my dog.Will never go back.

Kind staff and really good food. We especially like the fajita steak for a super easy home cooked meal. They have all the sides and fresh produce to go with. Seems to be family owned and operated, they're all very sweet peeps.
