Another Denton restaurant that has been on my list for far too long hits it out of the park. I love the order at the counter concept here (with cocktails being ordered at the bar area - excellent touch for brunch). The food was great (pancakes and ham&cheese omelet...yum). The only (very minor) complaint was how loud it was. You can see they have added some elements to cut down the noise but when the place is packed, it does little to help. Easy fix though, show up a little later and it won't be an issue.

Pancakes and homemade orange juice were absolutely delicious, but the space was incredibly crowded and the business seems understaffed.

Loco Cafe's food was delicious! Well seasoned, very fresh, and the staff was very helpful and kind! I had the vegan breakfast tacos with a side of hash browns. There are a couple other options on the menu, and the staff was knowledgeable about what options could readily be adjusted to be vegan. The vegan options are not listed on their menu online or in the restaurant, so make sure you ask!
It’s edible, honestly. My friend got the Huevos Rancheros and I got the 2 pancakes and 2 eggs with a side of fruit instead of bacon. I also got the loco coffee and a honey butter biscuit. Total it was like $45+. We were pretty hungry and surprisingly disappointed since previously we both had pretty good experiences here. The coffee was really sour and the pancakes were super flour-y. The eggs were pretty light yellow inside, which was just surprising that they were so low quality for how pricy it was. The huevos rancheros was underwhelming and pretty mid. We got orange juice, and both agreed that was pretty good. Overall the atmosphere was nice, but the food was just simply not great. I recommend going to somewhere else for a better experience.

This was my first time eating here. I thought my husband and I would give it a try. Walking in, I should have turned around and left. It is an order your food at the counter and seat yourself kind of place. I'm not a fan of that when it comes to breakfast. While I was sitting down waiting for my food, I noticed how you couldn't smell coffee brewing or bacon cooking. Usually, for breakfast, when you walk into a restaurant, you can smell the food. Our food is brought to the table, and it didn't even smell like it was just cooked on the grill. The bacon looked like plastic like it was cooked in the microwave. It didn't have any flavor and was very crispy. My scrambled eggs looked like they cracked the egg on a microwaveable plate and cooked it in the microwave. It wasn't wisked together and cooked on a griddle. They were cold. My pancakes were flavorless, and the coffee had a burnt flavor to it. My husband ordered their juevos rancheros . The potatoes were cold and overcooked. The sauce had a bad taste to it. McDonalds breakfast is better than this place. My husband and I are all about trying new places to eat to support the locals, but after spending $38.01 on disgustingfood, we will not be returning.
A hipster take on breakfast, a little pricey but worth it.

The restaurant was clean. The staff is friendly.
I ordered the veggie omelet. Hot and delicious. Obviously made with fresh, real eggs. Biscuit to die for. Hot tea.
Great selection of teas to choose from.
Will go again. Prices were not out of line.
