The microphone is terrible. You're right next to the highway. The staff can't hear our orders.
2 large cokes, 2 large fries and an ice cream cone.
I received Tea instead of coke, 1 large fry a
And 1 medium fry and no cone.
Then they want to argue instead of fixing the problem.
Left with the wrong order.

Your experience at this McDonalds will totally depend on the time at which you visit.
Breakfast time - average for what you’d expect from any other McDonald’s.
From lunch to a couple hours after sundown - speed starts fantastic decreasing down to average the closer you get to “late night” (10 pm). As far as customer service goes, it’s not absolutely horrible just don’t expect any “thank you”s or “have a nice day”

Once “late night” gets into swing - this location is truly horrible across all categories.
I used to work in roughly the same area (2 blocks east on ft worth drive) so I know that area of Denton has higher number of drug users, addicts, and homeless and as a general rule, “Late night” is when those types of people are active.
Other than the Whataburger across the street, there’s nothing else open during late night and since McDonald’s is cheaper they have to interact and handle these drug users, addicts, and homeless.
It doesn’t excuse the employees lack of customer service, but I understand the need to show a “take no crap” attitude because if they think there’s any possibility - drug users, addicts, and homeless will not stop trying to get something for nothing and more and more and more.
A nice friendly attitude *can* be bad to have in some situations and the employees at this location have to deal with those situations every night.

There's always the longest line at night and when it's busy they close one of the drive thru lines. That's just dumb to me

I placed a Mobile order before 11 pm around 10:47 pm in the drive through line and saw that I could pick up wt the counter so I chose this as my pickup option. I get to the door and it’s locked so I knock twice. Then an employee comes and says the inside is closed yet they have 8 people already inside, and I say I have a counter pickup and she still insists to not let me in. I tell her I made a counter pickup not drive through pickup and she finally lets me in in a very unfriendly way and asks what my order is rudely. I tell her and she goes and grabs it. If she didn’t let me in I would have to had to wait for at least 45 minutes because the line was so long and NOT moving. Also I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to lock the doors with customers still inside so bad business for them.
