I’m from Miami, land of Cuban Coffee, coladas, and cafe con leche. This place has a whole menu just for coffee and I took a risk. I never drink Starbucks… but Old West is hands and hands above them. We were in Denton for a week visiting family and I had the Crème Brûlée coffee 4X….. first was at out first breakfast, and the rest were pick up orders! It’s SO DELICIOUS! Then, the place is so cozy, but best of all is the food! Generous portions, their hash brown casserole...
I have been to two other Oldwest locations before but not this one. It was clean, service was fast, and the food was fresh. I got a latte and it was served in a large mug which was unique because most breakfast spots have small coffees. The hashbrown cassarole was hot and fresh and the meal I got was perfectly seasoned. I love that you can wait in line in your car and that you can get a mug of coffee while waiting. They really do take care of their customers!
Food is great but bring your appetite! Can’t find something that I don’t like but of everything on the menu you have to try the next tier hash brown casserole. Love the coffee and hot chocolate bar. It can get noisy but we don’t seem to have issues with hearing our own conversations.
