I placed an order May 21, 2025 @ 2:09PM at the Papa Johns located at 2430 S Interstate 35 E. Denton, TX 76205. I arrived at the location to see a young lady preparing pizza's. I stood there in SHOCK she was using her bare hands (NO GLOVES) picking up different ingredients and putting them on the pizza. Once I got her attention to get my pizza she brought it to me and went to the back behind a door and then came out with her phone in her right hand texting then she continued to pick up ingredients again and place them on the pizza she was preparing. I called her over to the counter and I asked her about wearing gloves..."So you don't wear gloves while preparing pizza?" Nonchalant she just stood there. I politely said " I Do Not Want This Pizza Just Refund Me. Thank you.. JUST NASTY.. Moving Forward I'm reminded to just PREPARE My OWN FOOD. I can't begin to tell you how disgusted I am just thinking about it. Wearing gloves when preparing food at Papa John's is crucial for maintaining food safety and hygiene. Gloves act as a barrier, preventing the transfer of germs and pathogens from hands to food, potentially preventing foodborne illnesses. They also protect food from contamination, keeping it safe for consumption.

Waited over an hour watching doordash drive all over before bringing my cold pizza. If I wanted to order through door dash I would. That's not what I paid for. He shows up with no shoes on with the pizza box half open. Not even in a warmer bag.

I ordered tonight, waited over an hour for my food because they sent it through DoorDash. The dasher never delivered my food, it’s now after 9pm, and all they were willing to do was offer a refund. When I asked for them to at least make the inconvenience right, they said that was the refund. No, that’s not making it right when my kids are without food this late at night! If you’re looking for customer service, you won’t find it here.

FIRS TTIME ORDERING FROM THIS LOCATION AND LIKE USUAL FOR PAPA THE SAUCE WAS A BUT MUCH BUT THATS A PERSONAL PREFERENCE ON THEIR STANDARD RECIPE ITS NOT MY SLICE OF PIZZA AND THATS OK BECAUEE THE STAFF HERE DID A WONDERFUL JOB EVEN THO IT WAS SO BUSY AND I ORDERED LIKE 7 THINGS THEY STILL HAD ME IN AND OUT IN LIKE 5 MINUTES REALLY GOOD PEOPLE

Overall the food was bad. The crust was dry as anything and hardly tasted like anything but cardboard. The garlic sauce tasted off and the cheese bread was the only good thing about the order. Very disappointed.

Lately we have been having issues with papa johns putting enough sauce on wings. So I try to call them with time to make sure they do. Which I did, and still fails to add good sauce to the wings. For these pricey wings you would think they would be good and sauced!
They charge us $67.87 and we never received the Pizzas now we are calling and they put us on hold and they can’t find the order.

I order take out pizza from this location quite a bit . Never have any problems, but tonight the Shaq a roni pizza crust was over cooked . Also the pizza tonight or any other time is never actually cut . Always have to cut it when you get it home . A pizza place should have the proper kitchen ware to slice any pizza perfectly!!
