Horrible food, this place has really gone to the trash over the years. The food was garbage and restaurant is dirty. I will never return to a pei wei again.
Pretty standard compared to any other Pei Wei. Weird thing was that for a Friday at 6:30, nobody dining in. A few sketchy looking people hanging around on sidewalk outside, maybe that's why? New to the area so I'm not familiar with the feeling of community overall.
I usually don't eat at pei wei and this was a horrible experience. I was in town for a graduation and decided to dine at the Pei Wei in Denton since it was close. The seats and tables were very dirty and I had to clean the seats and the table I was sitting at myself. In addition to that, I was overcharged for the sesame and broccoli dish I order. It didn't stop there. The broccoli in the dish was raw and hadn't even been steamed. I took my entire order back and was told that I would receive a refund. I'm still waiting for that but one thing is for sure, I wouldn't recommend dining there to anyone and I'm certainly never going to return there again.
My hubby ans I decided to try this place for the first time today. The floors were sticky and tables were dirty, but I overlooked this and we ordered anyway. He got the bourbon chicken and I ordered the coconut curry chicken. There was waaay too much sauce in both but his was practically soup. Neither tasted very good, but his was leaps and bounds better than mine.We asked for a refund for my curry chicken because I didn't want to eat it and they readily agreed. The manager was very nice and helpful, but I think I've had enough peiwei for at least a few years.
I just came to eat at the Pei Wei in Denton. I asked for un sweet tea, the guy said, "We don't have that here". umm.. yes, yes you do. Then as I was eating I got a good size piece of cardboard in my mouth. ? never again will I come back here.

My husband, kids and I went to Pei Wei tonight and it will be the last time I eat there. No wonder they were not busy on a peak Saturday night. Should have known better. The chicken bourbon and rice dish I had wasn't even palatable. So sad. I remember going there precovid and it was good.
This Pei Wei doesn't match the better experiences that I have had at other Pei Wei restaurants. At this location, my orders are often wrong, and the food quality is sometimes sub par. Other times I order from here at the food it great. It's hit or miss. Obviously I continue to order from here but it's a mediocre location for this chain.
Definitely a negative change here. Food was poorly made and DRY. Use to be a cleaner place better food. Mens bathroom hasn't been clean in days.
Really do like Pei Wei, and we eat at the ones in Fort Worth all the time. This location however isn't on par with the others. Tables are frequently sticky from previous guests, as well as the floors, almost like they need to make sure to change out their mop water. Food doesn't always seem fresh, and the restaurant in general seems pretty run down. It has a sort of mildew smell.

I am a Taiwanese who knows Asian food yet still enjoys eating "American style Chinese Food". That being said... the food at this Pei Wei falls into neither category. Instead, it creates a new dimension of its own in the worst possible way one can possibly imagine. It was a weird blend of saltiness, sourness, and sweetness...I normally feel guilty when throwing food away , but this time I am begging God's forgiveness. The Pad Thai and the Orange Chicken went directly to the trash can.
My wife and I had one of our first dates here. I remember then that the food was getting worse then. I just paid for my last meal here. I don’t know what happened but for several years now the quality of food has gone down.Fried rice had way too much soy sauce. Honey seared tasted sour.Bean sprouts were rotten.Seems like they aren’t even trying to make decent food.I’ll buy local next time.
Three reasons to avoid:1: chicken in lo mein was stringy and incredibly bland, sesame chicken was grossly sweet and had an unusual crunch like overly fried chicken.2: lo mein noodles were nearly sickly sweet, three bites was too much sweetness, but the sesame chicken noodles had almost no seasoning whatsoever so there was no flavor.3: two entrees and one app shouldn't run $45 for the absolutely poor quality of food.I had no service issues.
Their employees never seem happy. Everything seems like an inconvenience. I like their food, but I would appreciate it if I was greeted when I walk in. I would also appreciate them paying attention to walks in first and who to help first. I waited in the take out line a long time because they kept helping dine in people first who walked in after me.
I got food poisoning from here…. So be careful the food was probably not properly reheated I came in really close to closing so I knew it was most likely sitting there for a while.
