This place sees animals as objects. They are not vegan. They only have “vegan” menu while serving flesh of beings and their secretions.

They cater to my gluten-free needs and they make amazing food... Highly recommend

Not really sure what happened, perhaps new management that was mentioned below? But...quality of food and portions have quite literally been cut in half recently. Social media even still shows the giant burritos that were SO worth it previously. Today we received burritos half that size, if not less. Queso portions were cut in half. Quesadilla was probably 40% of what it was a few months ago, and barely any filling. These changes will kill your business. We're not coming back unless you improve the portion size and effort, or cut your prices in half to the value of the cheap food you're serving now.

This is a takeout only place. Menu doesn't mention it, neither does the description. Why give false impression why you are only a takeout place? Why not mention the same and gather those that are interested in it?

Long time customer here and honestly I had a nightmare of an experience today. It seems there’s a new manager who has a large amount of prejudice in body. I have always enjoyed coming to this restaurant and today I was mocked, cheated, and disrespected on a level that can never be corrected. The individual first attempted to declined my Groupon voucher and after speaking for a few moments decided to accept it. His tone was very belittling and his demeanor displayed an individual fueled by anger and hatred. He mentioned the store manager Angel and said he doesn’t honor them but I have a relationship with Angel who is the polar opposite of this inappropriate man. Angel is loving, kind, and full of respect. As the man attempted to lie to my face, I felt my heart sink to the floor. I knew I could never shop or do business with this establishment again. To reinforce this decision, the poorly behaved man / manager gave me little to no food and this is not an exaggeration. The nachos were missing beans, the Birria protein portion was so small, and our Tres Leches size was so laughable that I took a moment to enjoy it to subside the amount of pain, prejudice, and disrespect I felt at that moment. While I have loved this place to my heart, I know it is now time to part ways. I pray for the man who took my order today that he finds peace in his heart from whatever evil is stalking his life. As a therapist it is quite apparent that he is suffering. May he find God and a better respect for human life.

I had a horrible experience at this establishment. The management sucks and needs training on how to treat paying customers. Y'all should hire respectable people if you want to stay in business.

I will never eat from this establishment again!!! I went to Pepitas for lunch and was treated so poorly by the new manager. The guy who took my order was very rude and condescending about a Groupon coupon that was purchased. Why have the coupon available for purchase, then say you no longer honor it? He said we shouldn’t have bought the coupon because they don’t honor it. In addition to this, his disrespect carried over to the food order by micro portioning the food and even leaving out items. I even tried to call and resolve the situation, but was again met with rudeness. I used to love supporting this small vegan business. You guys should find another person who knows how to respect and communicate with customers, no matter what.

Great food & awesome staff, however, the online pics show indoor seating but there isn't any - only 3 tables on the sidewalk. Texas is hot y'all! If you advertise indoor seating, you should have some.

Fantastic vegan Mexican food! Even my non vegan friends love this place & we cannot get enough of the Al pastor & taco tuesdays!!

This place was incredible! The staff was so nice and the food was DELICIOUS. I got the chicken tacos and was very impressed by the flavor and the sauce. If you like churros, make sure to order a couple from here because you will be amazed!

This food is FANTASTIC. It’s THE best vegan Mexican food we’ve ever had. Every element was good, from the beans and rice to the tacos and sandwiches to the drinks! Seriously recommend. Not a place to sit down with a group so plan to pick up, it’s AMAZING.
