Very sad to hear this place is closing and regret not writing a review sooner. If 4.5 stars doesn't get Denton to support your small business, I don't know what will. Hope you'll open somewhere else.

The “sushi rice” was not sushi rice and was very hard. Like it had either been under cooked or dried out over night. Didn’t stick together at all. I really wanted to give it 5 stars because the menu variety, dietary accommodations, staff friendliness, etc, but the rice was that bad. Hopefully it was just a fluke. I really want to love this place, but maybe I’m spoiled by Dallas quality.

I used to order here 1-2 times a week! My absolute favorite. But they changed the rice!! They do not use quality rice any more. Its is hard and has a horrible texture. Ruins the Poke

I got a bowl from uber eats and it's hard to put into words how great it was. Super fresh and flavorful, sweet, salty, spicy, so good. Cucumber salad was awesome too! Great job.

The staff is so sweet! The food is even better! I tried the surf candy and I never want a poke bowl without mango. Everything is flavorful, even the rice! It is fantastic quality for an awesome price.

I loved the Maui Wowi bowl I had- lots of tofu, rice, avocado and lots of customizable toppings. Vegan options were clearly marked as well as GF. There was more options in the build your own rather than the pre made bowls but would still recommend to anyone in the area!

Nice and welcoming place to grab a quick lunch. The staff is friendly and they have a good variety of ingredients. Prices are good too. This is not a 5 star review because some of their fish aren’t fresh. Maybe this is because I only go in the afternoon and that is what is left, but definitely not the best raw fish I’ve had.

I went here a lot when I was a student and make sure to visit when I'm in Denton. I have multiple dietary restrictions and have never gotten sick here. The staff is always nice. The ice cream macaron sandwiches are great too, a bit expensive (their prices aren't set by the restaurant to my understanding) but worth it.

Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and am very sensitive. Most of the menu is naturally gluten free, and the items that do have gluten are clearly marked. They always change gloves when making a new bowl.
