Reading the other reviews makes sense as to my experience today. Customer service is lacking/absent. Picked up my ordered and I’m home now, and see my desserts are missing. I love Popeye’s food, but skip this one in Denton.

This was my first time coming here, and it was awful. I went through the drive through, and it took a minute for someone to speak, which if they’re busy that’s fine. I asked if the ghost pepper sauce was mayo based and was told “I don’t know” end of sentence. When I asked if he could check, there was silence and then he said “it’s soy, egg, and oil so no not mayo” that’s literally what mayonnaise is made of what?? I went with something else since I don’t eat mayo, and I really only came here for the biscuits that COME WITH THE MEAL. It even says on the menu it comes with a biscuit. The customer service was awful and employees were too busy playing around to do their jobs. I get home and see the food just thrown in the bag so the fries were everywhere, and no biscuit. Bro that was literally the whole reason I even came. Next time I want Popeyes I’m driving to ANY other location.The employees are rude and as someone who has worked fast food your job isn’t hard especially when you have 2 people in line.

Food is great, actually some of the biggest chicken pieces I've had from Popeyes, mashed potatoes are bomb af, and service was good too, Paris was helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, thanks

This place sucks! It’s so disappointing that the worst Popeyes location happens to also be the only location in Denton. I had in general, never had a good experience here but a few years ago I mean like 4-5 yeas ago I came here and my card declined. This has never happened before and has never happened since. I asked if they could try it again and they said no that there is nothing on it. Kind of a crazy thing to say to someone. I even checked my bank account and there was money in it I explained I had money in the account and I wasn’t sure why it wasn’t working and asked if they could please try Again. They said no. I happened to have cash so I just payed that way. The experience was so embracing I swore to never come here again. That was until today. On March 1st 2025 I was heavily craving Popeyes and it said they didn’t close till 12. I show up and they said they are about to close ( it was 10:45 ) and can only take cash! What do you mean! Maybe fix your time posted? And even if you closed at 11 what do you mean you are only taking cash? it really brought me back to why I stopped coming to this location!This place sucks and I am praying on its down fall!

Second time to to ever go here . I got a gift card for Christmas. Went on my lunch hour and service was slow . Got to counter and was informed credit card machines was down!!! I was very disappointed! There is no reason for that on a normal business day

When we were here staff was a bit busy being friendly to each other but not customer centered. They were on their phones and truly didn't care if customers were present or not. The food was edible but I had to make two trips back up to the counter to get simple things that should've been given with our meal. While there, another customer demanded to see the manager. He was angry about the lack of courtesy and blatant disrespect he had received by this crew. I blame management for tolerating this type of behavior. This type of service happens because managers are too afraid to manage. This makes managing g even harder. Find the poison and get rid of it. You'll be better off for it.
Food was cold. They didn't have fries. I'm sorry what? So I opted for Mac and cheese and that was disgusting! Won't come back to this location.

Went to the drive through and waited for a response and said “Hello”? In return one of the workers rudely said “You don’t have to say hello, I’m doing 1Million things right now and I’m trying to handle a customer at the window.” He then proceeded to complain about his night and make excuses for why he didn’t say “one moment or please hold”. Without going back and fourth with this employee I proceeded to place my order and you could just tell this individual was frustrated and intentionally very unprofessional. I do not recommend this location and would strongly suggest that whoever worked the drive-thru tonight is re-trained on customer service etiquette.

I went here before 5pm. The lobby was locked. I couldn't see any reason why I couldn't go inside. There was no sign explaining why it was locked. The food was as expected.

The workers here are so disrespectful and passive aggressive. If you can avoid the place and go to another Popeyes I would highly suggest doing so. While the food is fine, good customer service is absolutely non-existent. Even when being nice back you’re met with rudeness. Do better Popeyes!
