Dined here with a large work party about 3 months ago and it was fantastic. With our large party we ordered almost every item on the menu and everyone was very happy with their food, in both taste and presentation. We also enjoyed mixed drinks which were made proper and did not disappoint. Really great atmosphere of old building meets new in a clean professional way. It was a bit loud where we sat which was not a big deal but it did detract from the space as a whole. Our server was exceptional and very attentive. We will definitely be back and I hope everyone has a great dinning experience as we did.

The atmosphere is cozy, romantic, warm, and inviting, complemented by absolutely delicious food and exceptional drinks. It’s easily one of the best dining spots in Denton. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is Ken. He genuinely understands hospitality and what it means to make every guest feel welcomed and cared for. Aside from the delicious food, Ken is the reason why I will dine again and again. Thank you, Ken.

I spent my birthday here back in August and forgot to leave a review, I had a wonderful time. The staff were so kind to me and anyone who came by wished me a happy birthday. The food was amazing, I was sad I was far too full to get dessert but they brought out a plate with a candle and written in chocolate was “happy birthday!” I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town!

Food is okay but clearly overpriced! I had to look hard to see my side in my plates. The beef was good but place like salt grass has the same quality of meat for half of the price. Stake house wise you can find better cheaper in DFW. Wine list is good. Service is great. Desert list is ridiculous bad (over sweet option). The donuts are disgusting. Honestly I will not recommend this place to anyone it will be a waste of time and money. Also spend some money to weather proof your windows. It was freezing inside. Pretty much everyone was wearing their coats because it was so cold!

Exceptional service and food. Looking forward to going again. Marina, our server was fun and attentive. The smoked mezcal cocktail was excellent. Throughly enjoyed the elk sliders, garlic stuffed steak and crispy potatoes. Btw, the patio is a hidden gem especially with nice weather.

Everything the overview says is correct! The food, service, and atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal I was blown away by how good everything is. Everyone from the owner, waitresses, and hostess were super friendly and attentive I felt so catered to on my birthday like a princess and that doesn’t even describe the food. I’ll have to go back and try more items but my cowboy burger was fantastic as was the tenderloin my husband had. Also a fine restaurant downtown with its own parking lot you can’t beat this place! If you have a special occasion or just want some good food go to Queenie’s Steakhouse, oh and try the donut holes for dessert!
