First visit at Roosters and it did not disappoint. I had seen a few adds on Facebook and we decided to give it a try. The food was delicious. The fried jalapenos were spicy and fresh. I got the special of the day which was a bacon jam burger. It had a fried egg on it with chipotle mayo, and the bacon jam. It was mouth water good lol. The service was great no waiting for a refill or the food. From the kitchen to the wait staff great job. We will definitely be going back.

This is a great place to go. It is our go to before axe throwing across the street. The place has never disappointed. The service is top notch. The food is amazing and the atmosphere makes you want to stay awhile
Parking: Just be patient and drive around. You’ll find a spot. Enjoy getting a few steps in.
Honestly, this has to be up there with some of the worst service I’ve ever had. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
After the food was brought out and mine was missing, server said, “What did you order? Oh, your food will be out is a sec” after 30 minutes of being told it was going to be out any minute, everyone at my table finished their meals, even when they tried to eat slowly with me insisting they don’t wait on my food. I eventually had to seek out the manager, I promise I am not that type of person either. After another 30 minutes, food was eventually brought out. I had to get a to-go box because I wasn’t about to have everyone sit a wait after being there so long.
The manager gave me a coupon, but I probably won’t go back.

We absolutely love this place. The cuban is delicious as is the sloppy joe, rooster tails and chips.
I searched for a local place with BBQ and found Roosters. We picked up lunch for three and it was excellent. It was very busy and parking is limited, but it everything we ordered was excellent. We enjoyed the brisket sandwich, pulled pork, grilled vegetables, okra and their awesome chips.

Cool place to grab BBQ near the downtown square in Denton. Cool vibe & atmosphere, good food & service. I ordered the 2 meat plate of sliced brisket & sausage. The brisket was good…but a little dry, the sausage was okay.
Three of us order lean BBQ sandwiches and the meat was fatty and tough. This was our first visit and was extremely disappointed in our meals. One sandwich was so bad we sent it back to the kitchen and then lean barbecue brisket was served. It is a shame that they tried to pass off the other meat as being lean.

Whoever was working on 9/20 (I forget names), thank you! The employee who seated me was extremely courteous, and my waiter was kind and attentive. Your employees rule.
I ate the smoked tenderloin cheesesteak sandwich with the house chips plus an order of the rooster tails. Everything was great. They have good deals on boozy drinks on the weekend, which was awesome. This was my first time visiting Denton, and I'll probably come back here if I'm in town again! No regrets.

Really great BBQ. Super reasonable prices. The queso with biscuit and home made chips was awesome. I had the Reuben sandwich with fries and it was incredible. Just the right blend of meat, sauerkraut, and corned beef with 1000 island dressing. The server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for fantastic, low key meal.
