Had Shawarma Press for the first (and unfortunately last) time last night. Got the wrap meal - falafel was rock hard, and the hummus was runny (??). Wrap was very bland. I ended up just tossing it out halfway through. :( Definitely not worth the $20 I spent on it.

Flavor was good. But that the shawarma was in a tortilla and not a Saj bread or pita ruined it.

Food is acceptable, decent, not great. Better off going to Yummy’s or one of the various food trucks in Denton offering similar fare. They’re also very devious - they ask if you want the included bread in your falafel, then upcharge for bread. Same for sauce… “It comes with two sauces…” and when you add a second there is suddenly an additional charge. Same for everything. Watch your ticket, they are shady.

Love this place! My partner and I stop by almost every week because it's so good! The food is on point every time, and I would argue it's better than Layalina. Their wraps are simple but delectable. Quality is always consistent too--the falafel is never dry (always nice and crisp on the outside and the perfect consistency on the inside). They also make great baklava! We really like the staff and have met the owner--all very friendly and kind people.

Some of the most disgusting food I have ever eaten. I had the #2. My daughter had the #1 which was better than mine, but still disgusting. In this price range there are many better options. And in my opinion, anything would be a better option

My wife has lots of Middle Eastern family, so her standards for Mediterranean food are pretty high. We've seen this place and wanted to try it for awhile, and we finally did after a shopping trip to Albertson's.

And we were so glad we did! Denton is honestly pretty good for Mediterranean food (at least compared to where we've lived before haha), so we're always curious to try new spots. While some people's tastes might be different, this was the best falafel and shawarma we've had in the city. Our go-to orders are the chef's choice platters that come with a wrap, falafel, and hummus. The tandoori press shawarma has great spice and flavor, and the chicken shawarma with garlic sauce has a great blend of ingredients that work really well together. Quality of the meat was great. Baklava also slaps!

Some people might be put off by the fact its a fast-casual spot, but it's honestly become our first choice for Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern whenever we go out in the future! And can't say enough nice things about the staff. Always so friendly and welcoming when we come in (we also had the chance to chat a bit with the owner recently on our last visit and he was the nicest guy, really made us feel welcome). Sort of went on a whim, but we've been back multiple times now and know we'll be back several more!

I ordered chicken over rice through DoorDash, but the portion size was disappointingly small—barely enough for one person. The reviews I read before ordering were quite misleading. I’m not sure if dine-in portions are larger, but the delivery quantity was definitely insufficient.

I visited this place around 5-6 times. But, today when I ate the shawarma, I noticed that the chicken isn’t fresh. After coming to home I’m suffering from stomach pain and diarrhea. Pls avoid this place on weekdays.

It’s a Mediterranean subway but no preference choice. Chicken shawarma was dry, hummus didn’t have a lot of flavor and neither did the falafel. I love Mediterranean food and this didn’t scratch my itch. Too pricey for the portion and quality. Also didn’t love the pickles in the wrap.

One of the worst places I've ever gotten this sort of food from. Rice Bowl was VERY bland, had no flavor, the chicken shawarma meat was some low quality shredded chicken and beef was awful (definitely not Gyro meat). Would recommend anyone to stay away from this
