Will try again..Did go again with family and no wait even tho it got busy.Food delicious and fair prices. Grandkids are gluten free and they loved their meal.Our waiter Noah was terrific and met our needs as busy as he was. Will definetly go back

Avoid this place. I've been here twice. First time was several years ago when they were relatively new. This time was within the last week. Arrived for a late breakfast, and they were understandbly busy. Put my name on the list and proceeded to wait. I noticed a lot of people waiting for food but chalked it up to a rush. After watching the hostess write down names as people walked in (without asking for names), I realized she wasn't even paying attention to the list to call names from. Had to almost yell at her to get her to see our name at the top. Seemed she was calling 'regulars' instead of starting at the top. Finally got seated and she apologized for not being able to read and we eventually ordered after a few minutes. We then sat for 30 minutes and watched everyone seated after us get their food. No one attempted to tell us if/why there was a delay. After we decided to get up and leave, the waitress tried to tell us it'll just be another minute. At this point I'd been in this place for an hour and didn't get one iota of decent service. If you're a regular, they seem to take care of you, but as a new customer I was left sitting there with nothing. I don't know exactly what went wrong to have no food when everyone else was getting food, but a little bit communication could have gone a long way to making me feel better. Instead, I felt neglected and won't be back.

I had the , “Make your own skillet”. It is a base of fried potatoes and 2 eggs then you pick 4 additional ingredients to put in your skillet. It was delicious. The service was very good also.

Their fried zucchini is to die for! I've had the Swiss Mushroom burger as well as the Ruben sandwich. Both were hardy as well as delicious. Please go there! You will be so happy!
My wife took her family tonight and the orders came out at different times. I had her bring me the blackened salmon home, which was overcooked and under seasoned. Wish I had taken a picture before I threw it in the trash because it was nowhere near being blackened. The homestyle green beans were rubbery with no seasoning, no butter, no bacon, no where near homestyle. The only saving grace was the potato salad, which was adequate at best but still under seasoned. If you find yourself on this sidewalk, just keep walking to the next restaurant.
I love this neighborhood restaurant! The chicken fried chicken is delicious!! I had the grape chicken salad, tomato basil soup and fried zucchini for lunch. Again, delicious!

We came here a month ago for breakfast and have now been back there every Saturday since then. The food is excellent and their staff is great and very friendly.

I want to start off by saying I have went the sidewalk cafe on multiple occasions and I loved it!! So much so that I wanted to host a birthday brunch there. Now getting accommodation for this place was easy and I loved that the owner Sam really worked with me!THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!Seeing as it was a big party I don’t blame the servers to much and honestly it was most definitely a communication issue with the server… but really almost took me and my party out was HOW RUDEEEE THE FOOD RUNNER WAS!! but my thing is if a staff member is going to be interacting with customers he needs to have some home training!! Or not say anything at all. Our actual servers were so nice!! I loved them so much but that food runner literally almost ruined the whole experience.
