If I could do zero stars I would. New name of restaurant doesn’t mean improved! Waited 45 min for my takeout and finally asked for a refund. One of my dishes sat “ready” the whole time I was waiting. There is no way the tempura shrimp was even luke warm at that point.
Horrible service… went to dine in on my lunch break, I was the only person there, sat for 20 min wasted my lunch time waiting on a tuna roll, ended up having to leave and went somewhere else for lunch because the 8 people behind the sushi bar didn’t seems to have any sense of urgency to make a simple tuna roll in 20 min……now I realized why I was the only person there at noon during what suppose to be their busiest time….
I got the poke bowl. Sadly it was absolutely smothered in a Sriracha mayo sauce so much that it was all I could taste... except for when I'd accidentally bite into raw ginger. The raw ginger had been thin-sliced and chopped up and put on top of the other toppings but below the sauce, so it was an unpleasant surprise to bite into. I eventually gave up on eating the rest of the bowl. The other person with me got their spicy pork bowl, and it was pretty tasty! We also tried the monkey brains appetizer. Flavor-wise it was mid; not bad but not anything to write home about. My main complaint was the size. It was like a sushi burrito cut in half at a bias and was kind of difficult to eat.
I have been to this place twice and both times I was very happy with what I ordered! I would recommend the Korean Boneless Chicken Bowl the sauce is great but It’s a bit expensive.
Let me start off by saying, I really like this place. With that said, if you advertise your business hours, follow them. Went in today at 2:12 p.m. to grab some food to-go. Business hours show to be open until 2:30 p.m., when they then close until dinner. The open sign was posted and lit up in the front window. Went in to order, only to be told the kitchen closed at 2:15 p.m., which was o.k., because it was not 2:15 p.m. at that time. Was told we could not order because the kitchen was closed until dinner. So, does it close down at 2:15 p.m., or does it close down before then at the whim of whoever is working? Regardless, if the business makes it a habit of closing down the kitchen before the end of the posted business operating hours, then change the time on the sign and website to reflect what time you're really closed and stop taking orders. Also, if the kitchen is closed down, change the OPEN sign to CLOSED like you did when we were leaving… I will still go back and eat there, good food every time I have been, but this did not sit well with me today. On any other day, I would give this location 5 stars....
I got the ahi tuna bowl and it was delivered with no avocado, no cucumber, and almost no tuna. Huge waste of my money, so I won't be trusting this place again. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because the chicken hibachi was actually very good.
Awesome, chill place to kick back. Came to try the fried rice and it's easily the best in the area! If you eat in, you get complimentary Miso soup - as much as you like!
Second time ordering with major issues. I ordered delivery through Uber eats, and my hot food was placed in the same bag as my poke bowl, making the raw fish an unsafe temperature to eat. Plus I found a hair in the poke bowl, don't waste your time or money.
Fast food sushi and hibachi. Grocery store sushi is better. We're hoping we don't get sick from their #1 related volcano roll.
Multiple times my mother's gone up there ordering a bulgogi noodle bowl, it's gone wrong due to whoever is cooking either makes it with rice also or adds veggies when she's asked not for those. This instance, the bowl had the cooked veggies which she declined to have on her order. The cashier placed it right but the cook was too busy rubbing their pants and looked at their phone she said.
Restaurantji Recommends
The food is good I just don't like they close the store before the closing time on the door if they say they close at 9 a really close at 8:30 and won't take orders after 8:25
Sushibachi is an amazing spot.!! My wife and I decided to come here for date night and we are so glad we did. We had the Texas roll the crunch roll and the hibachi chicken with extra chicken cuz we're so extra. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic. The Texas roll is my favorite it's just a little bit spicy but delicious! The crunch roll didn't have a ton of flavor but good nonetheless we recommend this place to anybody who loves good sushi but also love some hibachi. Give them a try you won't be disappointed really polite service clean atmosphere and the tables are so trippy they reflect light and the music is really kind of hip! ??$5 recommended for sure
I've had some good and some bad hibachi and this falls right in the middle. I ordered the lunch hibachi and an extra side of fridge rice so total about $20. I wanted to check out the food in the car and to take it out, you kind of have to tilt the package a little and there was so much liquid in the container it spilled all over my car. The side with the meat and veggies is FULL, so be mindful of that when handling the item. The lunch special for steak and chicken was $14.95 and their website says $13.95, so needs to be updated but still a good deal! I'd say the portion size is definitely worth it. No teriyaki sauce came with it, I had to pay an extra $0.50 and an extra $0.50 for extra yum yum sauce. They do give you a side of yum yum sauce but it is the SMALLEST amount I've ever seen! I don't think it's even worth the 50 cents they are charging. The sauce was maybe a 4th full, they should at least put some more sauce in there. I would have needed at least 6 to get the saucy texture you get when you sit down to order hibachi.
I came here and had a relaxed brunch with my mother, and the employees were kind enough to let us stay and get lost in conversation! The location on the 380 corridor is closer to me, but this one offers a bit more. The sushi is the same fantastic quality, but there’s even more variety of seating/atmosphere and even a free soup and salad bar! Each has its very small trade-offs, but both are amazing, and Sushibachi will always be my go-to.
I came in and ordered the California Rolle, I’ve had them before ranging from mediocre to good at other restaurants. Here it’s amongs my favorite Sushi Rolls fresh rice and Avocado good crab meat. The young man fixed it right in my face fresh and was quick and accurate. Overall good experience. Good customer service and product .
