I came for the first time with my mom for dinner on Friday and it was wonderful! The atmosphere was calm and welcoming and the staff were very sweet and attentive without being pushy or rushing us. We got a chicken entree, a salmon and green curry dish, and the house fried rice. Everything tasted amazing and was made fresh. The chicken was great and cooked great, it was soft without feeling rubbery. It was a little pricey, but was certainly worth it with how filling it was. I 100% recomend trying it and will certainly be coming back soon!

I LOVE a good curry chicken. This yellow curry was tasty but was way overloaded with onions - like half the container was onion. If they would switch the onion with much more potatoes, it would be perfection!! I wonder if I could order it that way? All others in our group were satisfied and enjoy eating from there occasionally. Ours were online pick-up orders.

Sweet Basil Thai Bistro is a solid choice if you're looking for authentic Thai food in Denton. The restaurant was clean, and the staff—who appeared to be Thai women—were friendly and attentive, which added to the authenticity of the experience.

We ordered the seafood sauce, beef and broccoli, oyster beef, and a thai drink. The food tasted fresh, and when we asked for extreme spice, they delivered. It was really spicy (in a good way) and still flavorful. It helped clear up the sinuses for sure.

Portion sizes were okay, but I didn’t leave completely full—there could’ve been a bit more meat in the dishes. That said, the overall quality made up for it. Prices were reasonable for fresh, sit-down food—about $70–$100 total depending on tip—which isn't too much more than fast food these days.

Service was quick, and we were never ignored. Based on that alone, I’d come back. If you’re looking for a clean place with fast service and real Thai flavors, Sweet Basil is worth checking out.

I’m not one to leave reviews often, let alone a negative one….this was the worst Thai food I have ever had.
I ordered 3 different dishes and couldn’t eat any of them. Watered down base, lacking in flavor, and the meat was mealy and had a funky taste.
I hope they read this and get the kitchen back on point. Something is clearly off.

This Thai restaurant serves one of the best pad see ews (soy sauce noodles) in town. We like ordering it either with chicken or tofu. Our go-to appetizer is the shrimp in the blanket. I love the sweet sauce it comes with and sometimes I pour the leftover sauce on the noodles. I’ve also ordered the tofu delight and the golden duck. All great dishes that taste delicious. The duck is crispy which I like. We are also mindful of “Thai spice” so if you can handle it, definitely go for more than a level 2. Portions are adequate and we tend to have leftovers that we take home. Service is always great here and the lady that serves us is so nice. Thai is a comfort cuisine for us and this place does not disappoint. We love coming here and we visit pretty frequently. Overall, it’s a must-try if you love Thai food!
