Taqueria Monterrey

If you are looking for real authentic Mexican food this is unfortunately not the place. We came from out of town to visit and decided on this place because it was small and a bit hidden and those are usually the best. This however was not. To claim authentic Mexican food and for the prices that you pay i hate to say i was very disappointed. The atmosphere was nice the restaurant itself was clean but def not worth the price for the food you get. Very disappointed /: and would unfortunately not recommend.

I went to dinner with my family on 06/03/25 and ordered a Menudo and some Nuggets. The food was good but my complaint is for one of the cashiers. In front there were 2 girls, one of them (unfortunately I didn't see her name) was the one who helped me when I ordered the food and when I went to ask for a take-out box. The cashier asked another girl who was in the kitchen for the box (she had glasses) and when the girl who was in the kitchen asked who the takeout box was for, the cashier replied that it was for an old lady, who was referring to me. It remains to be said that I am not an old lady, the girl from the kitchen came out to look and the two girls laughed at me (I am older than 35 and less than 40 years old) I DO NOT APPRECIATE PEOPLE WHO USE BULLING AND LESS FOR CUSTOMERS WHO SUPPORT THEIR BUSINESS. They should train their cashier more to keep their mouth shut and not talk nonsense in front of customers. I imagine I'm not the only person who has been BULLED. The attitude of both girls is disgusting and I hope the owner talks to them to put them in their place and something like this doesn't happen again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE BULLYED. There are better places where they do treat customers well.

I do not recommend these Tacos. They have been using the meat for days and that is how they give it to the customers. It caused a big infection in my stomach that I still cannot get rid of because of those tacos. I am suffering that they are not ashamed to reheat the same meat. I hope you see this before eating them

Salsa doesn’t taste fresh or authentic.
Rice was over cooked and tasted microwaved. Tacos were alright though.

Personally, terrible service, I ordered my food, and they didn't give me what it was, and not even everything I had ordered ?they didn't let us eat inside, because they closed at 10:00 pm, and we arrived at 9:00 pm ?I will never go back to that place ?
