Taqueria Monterrey

I got Carne guisada! The pork was flavorful, gravy very good, big portion. Rice was so good! Will have breakfast next time. Bet their chorizo/ egg plate really good. Relaxing atmosphere, employees were very nice!

Food was good! Rice a little bland. Overall, I would come back and recommend. Corn is a must. Raise prices and throw in chips and salsa as a given and not an extra cost.

There is good reason that this restaurant has no customers. It sucks. They have no condiments for coffee. Their employees don’t really care and it’s not a real taqueria. They just say that they are a taqueria. Stay away!

We so enjoy the tacos especially de carnitas. Moist yet Not fatty like some others. They could improve on the rice, which is why we just order the tacos. Anyway, the horchata is my sons favorite and mine too lol. Anyway, we always find it clean, and the service is friendly. Bring a jacket it's FREEZING in there. Please turn up the heat..

Another sour taqueria without flavor?

I'm not from Texas but, any time I go to the Dallas area, I will always stop here. This has the best burritos east of California in my opinion for fast food.

Food just okay. Very expensive

Nothing like the food in Monterey. Nice workers but for the price paid it's insulting to get sinew riddled meat. Mexican food is easy to cook right, I know because I can, so there's no excuse. The other dish, carne guisada was prepared alright, so that's what brought it from 2 to 3 stars.

This place I have tried MULTIPLE TIMES as my husband likes their street tacos. They aren't anything special but I wouldn't tell you to order ANYTHING else. The cheese didn't melt on my quesadilla NOT because it wasn't hot enough. It is a cheese-like substance that didn't melt. I even buried it under hot quesadillas and the bottom one still didn't melt. I won't go into the Restroom cleanliness issue. I don't like giving bad reviews and won't do it on a one time whoopsy. Keep driving to another restaurant....trust me.

I love their food! So good but I can’t justify the prices anymore. They keep going up on stuff. A small rice 6 dollars? Jesus that’s insane, just add the rices to every plate.

TODAY MAY 23 / 2024 THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE THE AFTERNOON SHIFT SEAFOOD ORDERED A FISH BROTH AND MY BROTH ARRIVED WITH A BITCH OF TRIPITA, WHAT A HORRIBLE BAD TASTE IT SCARED ME WHEN I DRIED THE BROTH OF TIPA THERE IN THE FISH BROTH MY HUSBAND WENT TO REPORT IT TO THE CASHIER "THE SEASON RESPONSED TO MY HUSBAND FROM INSIDE THE KITCHEN AND I WAS SURPRISED BY THE SEASONS, TOLD HER THAT THE BROTH WAS STUFFED FROM EVERYTHING, I TOLD MY HUSBAND COME SEAT HIMSELF LEAVE IT, THE WAITRESS CAME TO MY TABLE AND TOLD ME SHE WAS EXCHANGING IT FOR SOMETHING ELSE.
