The Dive Bar & Restaurant

Took almost 40 minutes to get my food and it was the most disgustingly Mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted. Gravy was like eating a huge pile of salt.

The overall lay out of the place was poorly laid out. The restaurant was out of what seemed like everything from maple syrup, mustard, and flour tortillas despite it being a Saturday. That feels like poor order management to me. The pretzel was delicious, warm and soft. My step-dad ordered the chicken sandwich which he enjoyed a lot. He originally wanted the fish and chips but of course they were out of coleslaw. My mother and I ordered the same “Adult grilled cheese” and it was NOT good. The menu says a “thick” Texas toast but it was just white bread and the pork loin was super tough and chewy. My mother and I both didn’t eat it all besides the fries.
I spoke up about the poor food quality to our server but nothing was comped off the bill. Still paid $65 for 2 meals that weren’t even finished. The only saving grace was the chicken sandwich and the pretzel.

I love going to trivia here on Wednesdays, and the restaurant has improved a lot over the past few months!

I got the shrimp appetizer and chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak was hard as a rock, and the shrimp wasn't cooked all the way. Avoid this place. Food is terrible.

It's truly unfortunate that the Lakehaus (formerly The Dive) fails to capture the patrons that the building deserves, and i dont think this is the fault of the management. Constant construction of the apartment complex shutting down the road certainly might deter some customers. Furthermore the music entertainment varies from laughably bad to decent but it's never known which is which until you sometimes pay the cover. I've paid 10 dollars on more than one occasion to witness an hours worth of sound checks and microphone feedback. I fear for the Lakehauses future.

A casual and local spot tucked away from the hectic I~35 corridor. The food menu is above average compared to the usual bar & grill options. The lake view with outside patio dining is a plus.

Not called this anymore. Wanted to stay local..... we left totally dissappointed. Mimosa was good when I got a glass without lipstick!

We went here for Father’s Day and I was trying to go someplace a little different. My chicken fried steak looked like and tasted like a microwave meal. Fried pickles were a little soggy and not very crisp. Usually restaurants give a good portion of fries with the burgers. Looks like they used a child’s hand to grab from the basket and throw on the plate. I expected a little bit better for the price. Plus I asked for a to go cup and she said they don’t have the proper lids. We voiced our concerns and the waitress said I’m sorry and just acted like it was no big deal. She never tried to make it right or ask if she could do anything to make our experience any better. I normally don’t complain or make bad reviews either but this place won’t last long if it doesn’t change. It use to be called the Dive Bar and Restaurant. Apparently the owners are the same just a name change. Save your money!!!!

I didn't try the food. But nobody was at the bar and still took a few minutes to get a drink. There weren't many customers either so was amazed it took that much time. Drinks were over priced. And the layout is not conducive to a flowing movement....watch your step. Small room for the indoor band.

For an event, be aware there is a 25% automatic gratuity not only to the main check but also discreetly added to every bar tab. The food was good, and bar tenders were friendly.
This is a fun place for a very casual happy hour.

Some locations just seem jinxed. (and a nice location it is along Unicorn Lake) I've gone from the Donkey, a second incarnation whose name escapes me, the Dive and now Lake Haus. I have been hopeful with each new name. But now I have officially given up. (I must acknowledge a fine server named Thomas!)

Ummmm yea took forever to get service then when my burger came out it was raw . The sampler came out fine and it was good but yea the burger being raw when I cut it open took the cake for me . Definitely bad experience. Had to go step outside

Edit . Out experience ended well thanks to the server and the african American lady at the bar both of them made it a great day for me so thank you . You great employees !

They also explained sometimes ppl order there burgers that way so it's ok . It was a busy Saturday n still we left happy
