I went to this place on Halloween — the crowd was great and the vibe was really fun overall. However, my experience with the staff was disappointing. The lady bartender was rude and ignored our order several times. When I went back the next night, things got worse. The DJs (who seemed to be friends with the same bartender) were also rude and unwelcoming.
At one point, I saw a couple of people freely go up and play songs, but when I tried to suggest one, the bartender suddenly told me, “Whoa! You can’t be up here, get off!” — in a very dismissive tone. It honestly felt like I was being treated differently.
The place itself has a great atmosphere and could be amazing if not for the unprofessional and discriminatory behavior from some of the staff. I hope management takes this seriously because no one deserves to feel disrespected like that.

Trashy establishment with rude employees. Not sure how they stay in business with just how gross the place is but then having such disrespectful employees on top of that 🤯🤯🤯 take your money elsewhere in Denton. Highly do not recommend!!

I posted a negative review originally…
However, Ryan the owner reached out to me personally to try and accommodate and assess the reasons for my review.
Ryan went as far as to have a private discussion which I won’t go into, in person!
If that doesn’t show the management and staff cares I don’t know what does.
I gladly and appreciatively took down my negative review and am overwhelmingly happy with the overall experience we simply hit a rough patch and Ryan did his part to help the customer and fix the problems.
I’ve gone to the garage for a long time and plan on continuing to visit and be a regular.
Thank you Ryan and thank you the garage for being a good place to come and chill out in.
I can happily say I recommend this to anyone that wants to escape the monotonous clubs for some chill vibes, pool, and good drinks.

The bald bartender with the really long beard tonight was a really big douchebag, we had issues with a vape vending machine and brought it to his attention and asked him about it and he was super snappy. Came down to Fry tonight for the free graduate drinks this weekend at some of the bars and he was very rude when asked about the promotion and if it was offered at this bar... Altogether really bad service except for the friendly fellow at the front desk. Will not back.
Love the place in all seriousness, but get a wet floor sign. It’s dangerous to be a bar with pool tables with metal corners and not care about not having wet floor signs with leaking roof that all the employees are aware about but don’t care bc someone hasn’t fallen and hurt themselves yet. Then to kick the people out asking for a wet floor sign because of their individual safety is ridiculous. Just invest in a wet floor sign before someone gets hurt bc of you alls lack of safety

Respectfully I am not one to Do this kind of thing but I visited Back in March But Had a Concern about my check Called and Left a voicemail for a copy Of my Receipt. Never Heard back from them. I even went through their Google Submission On their webpage to Get a call back or Just an email but Instead I Heard back from Fry street 2 doors Down. Now if They can Get me a copy Of my Receipt I will be Happy To Revise my Review To 5 stars.

Mid atmosphere, mid drinks, my service. You don’t get good service unless you know the bartender. You can’t make new friends because of cliques taking over the space. Just a bad place to be at when going to have some fun.
