It's waffle house. You don't go there for the service. You go there for the late night fights. It's better than MMA night and you don't even have to buy tickets. It's a win win

5 stars!! waffle house is always delicious but i absolutely adored my server today! shout out to the best server ms debbie i love u so much diva! we bonded over loving leopard print and me and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed all of the small talk with the employees! they were also very quick and efficient and our food was a 10/10! would absolutely come here again and recommend stopping by if you love great waffles and great service!

I went here December 3rd and 4th. On the 3rd me and my friend arrived and stopped here for breakfast on our way to Decatur. It's one of the cleanest and well looked after Waffle House's I've ever been to and the food was good and fresh so I decided to stop here again on the 4th. This was the mistake unfortunately. I asked for a bowl (hashbrowns, eggs, cheese, and added sausage gravy) and a waffle. Well the bowl itself came out quickly but they forgot the gravy so I just reminded them and no biggie it was added. I ate the meal but the gravy wasn't hot as usual but I mixed it all in and the rest of the food was so I didnt think much of it until later. I waited over 20min for them to bring my waffle (they forgot about it but were serving waffles to other customers walking through the door). Well when morning shift arrived the whole scene changed. An older gentleman who I assume was the manager or even the owner came in he took charge but in a great way. He took the waffle off my bill due to the extended wait time, cleaned up plates, and even got me a refill on my water I had been waiting on. Now here's the part that got me thinking. He told them to throw away the gravy it was not in the correct pan something about it being too shallow and they couldn't serve that... well fast forward a couple of hours since I left there and I started feeling ill and nauseous. Around 11am I started violently throwing up all the food and then I started feeling slightly better. Took until around 4:30pm when I was able to get home from work to take medicine and rest that I finally felt much better and all I ate that day was Waffle House. So I won't be returning at least not while nightshift is still on the clock but I'd be more than happy to during dayshift as the older gentleman was definitely a godsend for anyone else that might've ordered gravy throughout the day.

The food's okay. I've just never cared for the atmosphere at any of the waffle House locations. It's all rush rush rush. And the service really isn't that fast.

fabulous crew, and the Philly cheesesteak omelette with smothered and covered hashbrowns hit the spot. I had special instructions for my toast which they came through on 100% super friendly staff from the second. I stepped in till the second I stepped out. This is one of the better waffle houses and I've been to a lot!
Can't eat inside overnight anymore. Defeats the whole purpose of coming here.

This location has gone down hill. I ate there during the evening and the server didn't even seem to have a clue to what she was doing. Didn't charge us right for the food we ordered and food came out cold. I think the older lady named Debbie was our server and it was not a good experience. It's ashame because I love waffle house and its usually good but the denton location has gotten worse. Next time I think I will travel to Gainesville and eat at that location so much better food quality and service.
