If you’ve had real Mediterranean food, I don’t recommend this place.I ordered a gyro dinner and I was served lamb topped w jalapeños and the rice was yellow rice w/ mixed veggies along w/ watery tzatziki dip. The only thing Mediterranean about that Gyro dinner is the meat, salad and pita bread. There was also a pickle on the plate as well which I don’t see how that fits the gyro dinner pallet, but overall the meal was highly disappointing.

I’ve been in Denton my whole life(55 years) And Yummies has never disappointed! Do not be fooled by the size of the restaurant because it is hands-down the most authentic Greek restaurant food you will eat around!! Besides the food being delicious, the owner is amazing and will make anything special for you if you have dietary needs as I do? I don’t know what I would do if Yummies went away? They are a favorite of Denton’s And a for sure, favorite forever of mine!! ??

Top 10 favorite places to eat! I've been eating their gyros since 1996 when I attended TWU. I still eat there every time I visit Denton. The owner is very friendly, the food is fantastic, the price is right, and the service is excellent.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! the gyro supreme sandwich is to die for. Tastes so authentic, fresh, and delicious. The hummus is also very good. The owner is really nice as well and we had very good service. It was my second time back there and I look forward to going again. Definitely a gem of a hole in the wall and you have to try it’

Wonderful!! My sister and I came here for the first time and personally, I think it lives up to the hype of being the best gyros in town! I had the gyro special with the stuffed grape leaves and hummus, and everything was hot, flavorful, and delicious!! I can't wait to come back for more.
