We came here during a recent visit to south Texas. The chopped steak did not disappoint. It was the best I've ever had! Great atmosphere and friendly service! We definitely hope to come back.

The food was good with large portions. The chicken fried steak was the real deal, just exactly like grandma's. The fries we e e nice and crispy with none of that oily, old grease residue. We ordered 2 appetizers and both were meh, as were the mac and cheese side dish. The deviled eggs were boiled eggs with a squirt of mayo and bacon topping, and the fried pickles were nothing special. Our sweet tea and coke were perfectly sweetened, and the burgers were huge. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Sunday mimosas, and a bloody Mary bar were cheap. I'd go back, but remember not to order sides.

UM!!! EVERYTHING! The food for firsts, we don't have restaurants like Black Creek out here. the quality and the flavor of the food is MUAH!!! You will taste the love cooked into your meal. the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. from suits to bikinis you'll find an eclectic mix of every type of people which I personally LOVE because people are amazing! the care and attention put into keeping the guests happy and satisfied and smiling, makes repeat visits a definite. I LOVE this place. I will be back again and again
Came in sat down, waiting to be served 10 minutes. All the servers acted as if i was not there ended going to triple c for my burger not even 3 minutes after I sat they took my order. First time this has happened to me from now on Monday is a no go to black Creek. it felt like all the servers were purposely ignoring me. Just because I like the burger here I'll continue to visit except for Monday date of review is July 21 2025 in case the owner cares to review the cameras to see who were the employees this Monday

Changing my overall opinion, the food was decent even semi cold. But the calamari was the biggest disappointment portion wise. Might try eating in person rather than picking up next time.

According to my roomie “an excellent burger, one of the best I’ve had”. I found the fried chicken wrap to be lacking in flavor, but the fries were really tasty. Won’t knock off stars for the wrap as the service was great, the beer was cold and everything was priced well. We plan on returning. Thanks to Doe-re-mi Lavender for the recommendation.
