I love when you're driving through a small town and decide to stop because its lunch and it ends up a total winner! Football all around us, amazing burgers and a small town atmosphere. So glad we found this place!
We came here during a recent visit to south Texas. The chopped steak did not disappoint. It was the best I've ever had! Great atmosphere and friendly service! We definitely hope to come back.
The food was good with large portions. The chicken fried steak was the real deal, just exactly like grandma's. The fries we e e nice and crispy with none of that oily, old grease residue. We ordered 2 appetizers and both were meh, as were the mac and cheese side dish. The deviled eggs were boiled eggs with a squirt of mayo and bacon topping, and the fried pickles were nothing special.
