One dog was on leash puppy was not. Even if it is a service dog there on leashes and don’t run around restaurant. I eat at those places. With service dogs behaving like trained.

I had the chicken fried steak, fries, and a salad. Very filling. Salad was large with homemade (not bottled) Ranch dressing. My wife had a filet and broccoli which she enjoyed, but will get the salad next time. Great start for this new restaraunt

It was not the best place out there, but it was a solid breakfast option. Pancakes were very sweet and cakey. Biscuits were a tad dry and burnt on the bottom. Had to add a lot of my own seasonings and hot sauce. Kind servers were very busy and very helpful. Only got 1 refill while we were there. But they seemed to be a tad understaffed. It is definitely a try it out for yourself kind of place. I'd love to go try a different meal at a different time! (Pepsi on tap) LOL ?

So good! Great home cooked food w/great service. They were very accommodating as it was my mother’s birthday. She chose Eagles Nest over any place in Longview & I see why. It does take a bit to get the food but it’s b/c they make everything to order. It’s fresh, quality & so worth it. Everyone at the table had something different from chicken salad, to steaks, to their signature burger w/Mac n cheese. Everything was amazing! The homemade onion rings were so good we ordered more! It’s now my “go to” restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

The East Texas burger tour continues. Atypical experience here; went in during the Yamboree, ordered some chicken strips and got a burger instead. I took one look and said, sorry whoever didn’t get their burger because it’s going down. And it did. Great patty, nice toasted bun. Mayo and pickles. Excellent taste. Sorry, whoever didn’t get their burger. I sure enjoyed it.
