I spent 34$ for a custom cake for my daughter's 6th birthday. The cake was cute design of "how to train your dragon" movie character's. However, the cake tasted AWFUL and left a LOT to be desired. DRY, VERY BLAND, AND DRY! I could have made one from box cake that tastes better. May just throw the rest away. Never buying from the bakery at HEB again. Very disappointing.

I keep receiving expired food in curbside orders. I just got this order and it’s already over a week expired food. In the same order, I received a green and molded prepared meal. I don’t recommend curbside shopping. Terrible.
Got a cake on Saturday April 22nd I ordered ahead of time. Cake was pretty but I didn’t serve right away thankfully I let it sit out for couple hours. We sang happy birthday to my mom and had the hardest time slicing into a partially frozen cake ?. The icing just fell off of the cake like a layer of cement. It was very embarrassing to serve this to our guests and at a $35.00 price tag never again HEB…I will make my own cake.
I love H‑E‑B but there’s one thing that gets me frustrated every time I shop is the baggers put raw meet in with cooked prepackaged food and veggies. Where is the common sense? It pains me to call them out on it every time I see them do this. Please for the love of God and all that is holy, train your partners.
Ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday. When I went to pick up the cake they had spelled her name wrong. Mind you it was spelled correct on the order form. The fix was a gold ribbon over the name with the correct spelling. Unfortunately that turned out horrible. When talking to the staff in the bakery I asked why I was being charged full price for a cake they messed up which now looks like crap with the fix. Niles at the bay colony bakery location stated and I quote “it was an honest mistake and it’s just a cake”. Another member of the bakery staff ripped the ticket out of my hand and changed the price. I have never had issues with this location but wow the bakery staff needs to work on their customer service skills!!!!

The curbside messes up my orde almost every time and then the curbside manager basically called me a liar today and I got charged $20 more than expected and when I got upset she hung up the phone in my face. I will never set foot in an HEB again
I had 12 items and I was asked to go wait in a standard line rather than using self checkout line that I already stood in like for. The self check clerk was rude and unprofessional.
A great pitstop for pastries for a picnic. The hazelnut milk choc croissant and quiche were both delicious. Monmouth coffee is provided here. This small bakery comes highly recommended.

It’s beautiful made and so nice to walk in. Everything was awesome. Better than Walmart’s! Little expensive but we bought the best Seafood that was delicious. Am going back! Thank you! It’s our first time at Your new HEB
I just wanted to let you know the HEB Bay Colony in League City, TX They are ABOVE and beyond. Michelle that is the manager at curbside and the WHOLE team just shine and should be an example to ALL curbside the standard of customer service. I've been accommodated and pleasantly surprised by them. For many occasions they have surprised me and my family flowers and little fun treats for my kiddo. Just today for no reason except they give exceptional service they surprised me with flowers. They should be commended to the highest. We have ALWAYS had nothing but the best service here. Its truly next level.
I normally like the baked goods from this HEB. However, just today I tried order a custom cake. The phone rang in the bakery for a couple of minutes, no big deal, they're probably busy. Well, once the phone was picked up, I hadn't even finished my sentence before the gentleman on the line was transferring me to the curbside delivery line. For a custom cake...Well, the curbside folks were great, apologetic, and transferred me back to the bakery where the phone was picked up within just a few rings. The employee (different from the first one) sounded busy, but listened when I said I wanted a custom cake made. She then asked me to wait while she checked a calendar for availability. Great, progress.Except I was still sitting there 15 minutes later waiting for someone to get back to me. So, I guess I'll just go somewhere else.
Always have registers open. If it gets busy you can hear the person who is supervising the lines calling in more people to tend the registers. Always ask if you need help out to the car. H‑E‑B is ALWAYS BETTER!
