Good things come to those who wait. I’ve been frequenting Jaquay’s for about a year now and it remains the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Dine-in and get the original chicken & waffles. The space is small and not fancy, and there’s often a 30 min or more wait for food, but the food is best fresh and well worth any wait. (I’m always so eager to eat that I keep forgetting to take a good photo. This one is mid-meal, already missing some chicken).
This cute little place feels very much like home, very cozy and comfortable. The food exceeded all possible expectations I had. I absolutely will return and this is my new favorite spot.
Literally in town to visit family from Fort Worth. I googled food near me and stumbled across Jaquays! I originally did take out but ended up eating and being blessed with good food and good atmosphere! Chicken fresh crispy and fire the waffle is everything! And I am not a waffle girly! The combo was fresh, fulfilling and with the drizzle you didnt even need syrup! I cleaned my plate real good! Met the owner and his wife and sister and it truly felt like my family made me a home...
