These oysters are dead. They are pastuerized. This kills them, and the juice runs out. They taste bland and watery. Many restaurants serve them - probably at the advice of their lawyers. Want really delicious, fresh, live oysters? Buy a sack down at the docks, and shuck them yourself. There is absolutely no comparison. None.

Great place to get your oysters and I feel like they supply the world with them. Very. Lean building and great people to speak with.

We are from Florida and decided to have a oyster roast. We bought 2 boxes of oysters. We were blown away by the size and quality. They were the best we have had in years. I would recommend Prestige to anyone. We will buy again when we return to Houston.

Customer service from one lady was very rude! Told us they were closed! And explained how they did not sell to the public! Yet we called again and another lady was beyond sweet and so helpful along with the gentleman who brought the oysters to us! If you do not like what you do please fine somewhere else to work! Very Thankful for the other two! Other than that this was the only place we found oysters for a great price!!!!

These Gulf oysters are as good as they get! Prestige Oysters is a wholesale oyster distributor, but if you pay cash or check, you can pick up a bag of oysters for $50. They are high-pressure processed oysters - handpicked, washed, then high-pressure processed for easy shucking. We grabbed a bag and had oysters on the half shell a few days after Christmas at home -- paired with bottles and bottles of Champagne, beer and white wine. Great outdoor activity with friends or fam. We also got a bucket of pre-shucked oysters to throw a few in our homemade seafood gumbo, and also to fry up for oysters po'boys.I also saw they now sell their oysters at Central Market, for those folks who don't want to make a trek to their HQ in Dickenson or San Leon (oysters sold at their new restaurant, Pier 6).
