Desert Door Distillery is a must-visit destination for cocktail enthusiasts. The Sotol, a unique and delicious ingredient, is the star of the show, adding a distinctive flavor to every drink. The ambiance is fun and lively, and the staff go above and beyond to provide excellent service. Kate is an incredible Distiller and made the tour epic.
In addition to the exceptional cocktails, visitors can enjoy tasty queso from a nearby food truck. The building itself is beautifully designed, and the distillery offers a special touch by providing the option to mail postcards for visitors. Drinks were excellent, and the ambiance on a Saturday afternoon with live music was great. Service was solid and friendly. Customers have enjoyed the guided tours and the opportunity to sample the unique spirit, which is described as similar to tequila but more earthy, with an oak-aged version that resembles whiskey. Kate gives a very informational tour and includes everyone. Whether visiting for a special occasion or to purchase a bottle of the specialty Sotol, Desert Door Distillery is an ideal destination for a memorable experience.
