“I lived only 30 minutes from the Driftwood location of Salt Lick when I worked in the Texas Hill Country. I craved it then, but I crave it even more now that I'm nearly five hours away. So delicious and who doesn't want their picture next to the pit?”
“We had an amazing experience at Duchman Family Winery! 🍷 Our host, Richard, was outstanding — his exceptional knowledge and passion for wines made the visit truly memorable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the wines were fantastic. Definitely a must-visit when in the Austin area!”
“I came here as part of a BBQ and Wine Tour and the service we received was fantastic. Our host (who's name escapes me too many great glasses of wine) was really friendly and informative and clearly passionate about Texan wines.
She provided all the details we needed and enjoyed every wine including a chardonnay which is not a wine I usually like and I decided to bring a chardonnay and a rose back home with me. Our host kindly packaged it up for me and it successfully made it home with me. If I ever end up back in Texas I would definitely come here again!”

“Thank you for hosting Pints for Pointers! We found a new favorite place. My husband loved the burger and we fell in love with the marzen. Super friendly owner and manager- great band, great weather! What a perfect weekend ❤️”
“Last weekend we ended our day of distilleries here in hopes of catching the astros game and ended up having the MOST FUN throwing axes and having drinks! So glad we found this place. Highly recommend!”
“I was visiting a friend who lived in the area, but I had to kill time while I waited for him, so I was driving around the area looking around. I noticed this big red building in the distance and just randomly decided to check it out, and to my surprise, it was a coffee shop! I didn’t walk in at that time, but fast forward a few months and I was in the area again so I decided to find this place and actually try it out. Fast forward again a year later to present day, and this is one of my favorite hidden gems I’m very glad I happened to stumble upon! Being that I live an hour south of Houston, I don’t get to visit too often, but the times I’ve gone, it’s always a pleasant experience. Great coffee, great service, cozy atmosphere.”

“Our Family purchased about 7 or 8 bottles of wine. It was a relaxing environment and the kids enjoyed the animals. Very spacious and beautiful scenery. I was a little disappointed in the way the charcuterie board (plate) was served. It was on a paper plate. Otherwise, our big group of over 25 enjoyed themselves.”

“My son lives in Austin and every time I visit we go to Driftwood. Tomorrow 7/2 will be our 4th time to go. We get a bottle of wine and walk over to the bistro. Great service and their stuffed avocados and steak quesadillas are awesome.”
“I tried a beer flight. All 5 beers were on point and true to style. The Belgian Amber was my favorite. This is my goto craft Brewery from now on. A true jewel to hill country brewing.”

“I have been looking forward to trying Abby Jane, grain to table makes me so happy. We bought a donut, almond monkey bread, chocolate babka, and a sourdough loaf (pan). The pastries were amazing, it was 2:40pm and the donut was incredibly soft. The almond monkey bread was just sweet enough and I will be buying my sandwhich bread from them. My only issue was the chocolate babka was a bit dry and burned on the edges.”

“We needed a last minute breakfast pastry platter for a small wedding venue near by. I was recommend to this place by the owner of Home spun in Dripping Springs. It was 2 minutes to closing time & a very friendly young woman whipped up a beautiful platter for me to deliver to my Daughters future in-laws! Thank you so much!!! I highly recommend this wonderful place! We’ll stop in again sometime & enjoy a coffee & fresh baked pastries 🩷”

“Authentic and amazing pastries. From savory to sweet, the owner knows how to show off the best of Britain! We had Scottish eggs, lamb pastries, cottage pie, chicken curry pastries, and classic sausage pastries. Delish!!”
“Beerburg Brewery is like going to a good friend's house for dinner. A relaxed atmosphere that is not trendy. Always welcomed with a smile. Not to mention a fun little 9 basket disc golf course that is more technical than long. Come by enough times and the staff remembers your name. That's always a good feeling to be welcomed like a friend. The beers are changed from time to time so it like going to a new bar and tasting something new without going to a new bar to try something new. Plus, all of the beer ingredients are native and harvested in Texas.”

“I really liked this place! Amazing beer, especially the hazy one! Very deep dense taste, and color???… A very professional approach is felt! It is with the soul and knowledge, as well as love for their work. Using the best quality ingredients. It was like nothing to me!Despite the rainy Saturday, there was amazing live music-guitar. It was wonderful. And I also want to mention the head chef Max! An incredibly radiant person! And what delicious burgers he cooked personally and brought them to his guests! It costs so much!!! Thanks to him!My son Max, 11, and daughter Marianne, 5, were delighted! It was so delicious! The most delicious burgers, they told me, and they are still the same.We also had time to watch our favorite football (of course, HOOK ‘em HORNS ?????) (the very beginning, and yet ☺️!!!).I would recommend this place with the most beautiful territory in any weather! Clean air, and somehow everything feels right, exactly the way it should)! Such a mood of the place!!!”
