“We were staying in the area for the eclipse and salt lick bbq was a recommendation. I’m so glad that we got to have our dinner here on the last day. Everything was so good!”
“Last weekend we ended our day of distilleries here in hopes of catching the astros game and ended up having the MOST FUN throwing axes and having drinks! So glad we found this place. Highly recommend!”
“We were treated to an extensive history of the property and guide to their wines by our server. The service was excellent. The property is inviting and lovely. The Mission wine is delicious and memorable. Fall creek overall has been one of our favorite experiences of our many trips to the Austin area. Cheers!”
“What a pleasant surprise. We had the cellars flight of wine and were once again floored by the great taste. The bartender was amazing. She ran the complete bar by herself. She was nonstop. The flight of wine includes a selection of five wines. We drank one (1) white, one (1) rose, and three (3) reds. They were all amazing. We ended up buying four (4) bottles. The wine in Texas is simply amazing. Full disclosure I’m not an expert in wine by any means however I was amazed nonetheless. So the debate wasNot enough time at the cellar sipping on wine in a great atmosphereORWas the desperation for great BBQ overwhelming. The cellar has outdoor seating areas that are beautiful.Cheers”
“Excellent food every time we visit. We've been coming there for 7 years when our son introduced us to Hays City Store. We came yesterday from Beeville for Matthew's 41st b'day! Great food as always.”
“I'm native Texan, but I never owned cowboy boots... well, I got my first pair and broke them in on this dance floor... and I'm never looking back! Great dance hall with fantastic live country-western Texas two-steppin' music.Kid-friendliness: No kids under 18.”
“Great spot for beers and food. Very good selection of beers and wines. Several award winning beers plus a nice food truck. It has inside and outside facilities so you can come during any weather”
“We hosted a Rehearsal/Welcome dinner for 80 in the winery’s event space with a happy hour outside prior to the dinner. From the beginning, Candace Dill, director of events, was professional, responsive, and flexible as our numbers and food choices changed. She was a pleasure to work with! The food was delicious and the waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. My guests were very complimentary of the entire experience. I would highly recommend booking any event with Candace and Duchman.”
“Great place to visit, and enjoy some spirits from their locally distilled process. The service is great, and the people are professional. The music is fun and lively. We were there for a group gathering, and they took very good care of our entire group of 60+.I hope your experience is as good as mine and our group.”
“We have been here a few times and never disappoint. We always do the wine flights and they make you feel like you belong. They are spot on in describing the wines. The outside area is awesome!”
“Went to fixed menu night - service was great as was the atmosphere- views - all food was just OK because it was only like warm vs hot - they need to figure that out”
“Absolutely Loved the entire experience. The food was divine and the service was even better. We met Bri upon entering and my wife commented on her cross necklace. She was a blessing. Then Charlie, our waiter told us of his plans to go on a missionary trip. We also met Charlie's brother (Mitch)and mother (Michelle) , who both work there. The whole family blessed us enormously; add to that the exquisite cuisine and we had an experience we will not soon forget. Oh, did mention the manager(Robin) gave us a copy of their cookbook gratis? THANK YOU!! You'll be seeing us again.”
“1st time here & ABSOLUTELY loved the service from the Wine Tasting Room & from the Bistro!! BEAUTIFUL view, tasty red wines(we had the Alamo Red, Tempranillo, and Armadillo Red), and yummy food(Chimichurri Steak Wrap, Chicken Quesadillas, and Calamari)!! Will DEFINITELY be returning!!”
“Our neighbors in Oak Hill recommended this place to try, and I'm so glad we did! The nicest people serving the best ice cream (mine with espresso poured on top) and the most lovely setting, can't wait to go again!”
“I love this place. If you love beer, this is the perfect place for you.I love beer and this place is very typical of Texas. The beer, food and musical atmosphere is excellent. It is a place where your children can go but it is often emphasized that you should be aware of them, you can also bring your pets.I will definitely go another time, it is 30 minutes from Austin and 50 from Pflugerville.”
“My friend recommended this place to me. It was so nice to meet Jamie, one of the owners! The way they prep the meat and sauce is amazing, totally different from Brazil...The explosion of the flavors is just breathtaking ?Definitely be back to try everything!!! To bad I couldn't give this place 10? because they deserve 100Jamei, obrigado pela atenção.Otrebla Zeravla”
“Recommend the savory pies! Lovely service, too. We had the Muenster and Ham pies, as well as the Cheddar & Jalapeño Sausage Rolls (a great Hill Country twist on a British classic!).”
“The experience was so incredible that we went for lunch and for dinner all in the same day. We walked in, greeted with incredible hospitality, and we walked out, feeling like family. The tastes of India were scrumptious, and so much more than your typical American Indian food. The authenticity was genuine. Madly in love with this place and with the owners.”
“Very cute little mom & pop bakery and cafe. My wife and I came here for breakfast a few years ago and we came here for lunch with our three kids today. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was great. The cinnamon roll straight-up ridonkulous! ❤️Parking: Plenty of parking in front and in the back.”
“Bestttttt bakery in Austin!!! Their croissants are soooo buttery and nice and flaky! Also, their berry danish has the perfect level of sweetness and is sooooo good!! Their chocolate croissant was soooo good that I had to get 2 more.”
“Acopon is a rare gem in the heart of Dripping Springs! It’s so hard to find English style beers in Austin and even harder to find cask beers regularly tapped, so this little brewery is doing good work! Our experience here was pleasant on a Saturday evening, not at all rowdy or crowded, and the perfect environment to enjoy a few crushable beers. Highly recommend!”
“Had the Sloppy Sow sandwich and it was delicious! It was a very packed bin and lived up to its name with great flavor.Would be nice if there was a bit more seating but would totally go again.”
“Mr Chingon is rock solid. A little on the pricier side for mexican food, but absolutely killing it on quality and consistency. For dripping springs, its an easy 5 stars as we have limited options. The birria, the taco madre, the pastor, all dang good. If this place was priced a little more appropriately, I'd be here almost every day.”
“Such a bright, lovely place to work remotely with an amazing Cappucino! Come 5 o'clock the alcoholic bevvies hit the spot and there is enough space for my kiddos to run around outside so I can enjoy my margarita. The tacos from Mr. Chingon are on point with perfect salsa.Fair Lane is a great addition to Dripping Springs and much needed!”
“Hands down, one of the best bars I’ve ever been to. There is plenty for adults and kids, the scenery was beautiful, lots of parking, playscape for the kids was fun, and we were able to feed the llamas when we were there! Will definitely be back!”
“Jester King is an amazing brewery not just on a local scale but on a national scale. They're masters of saisons and wild ferments but skilled at plenty of other styles. Visiting the brewery is a huge open space with tons of seating and amazing wood-fired pizza. Highly recommended.”
“We went on a weekend and the place was packed. The place is run by people with impaired hearing, so be patient when placing your order. We ordered 2 crepes - a savory chicken mushroom crepe and a sweet dulce de leche crepe. Both the crepes tasted great. The chicken crepe came with a small side salad and the tomato pesto sauce went will it. We devoured the sweet crepe. We got it with ice cream on the side which made it even betterWould definitely be back to try other crepes, everything on the menu looks delicious”
“Really like this place, but not too happy about the fact that they are going out of their way to tell law abiding citizens that they may not carry to defend themselves here.”
“I really liked this place! Amazing beer, especially the hazy one! Very deep dense taste, and color???… A very professional approach is felt! It is with the soul and knowledge, as well as love for their work. Using the best quality ingredients. It was like nothing to me!Despite the rainy Saturday, there was amazing live music-guitar. It was wonderful. And I also want to mention the head chef Max! An incredibly radiant person! And what delicious burgers he cooked personally and brought them to his guests! It costs so much!!! Thanks to him!My son Max, 11, and daughter Marianne, 5, were delighted! It was so delicious! The most delicious burgers, they told me, and they are still the same.We also had time to watch our favorite football (of course, HOOK ‘em HORNS ?????) (the very beginning, and yet ☺️!!!).I would recommend this place with the most beautiful territory in any weather! Clean air, and somehow everything feels right, exactly the way it should)! Such a mood of the place!!!”
“The duck quesadilla and beets were so tasty, so flavorful, with delicious sauces, a perfect spiciness, I could have eaten two more orders! Really excellent concept and also execution of the concept. And nice people too!”
