We really enjoyed our first visit to Salt Lick. From the host, to our server, everything was super friendly. We really enjoyed that you could order plates of food and it was the perfect amount. We had ribs, pulled pork, sausage and brisket. My favorite was definitely the ribs and pulled pork. My husband loved the pulled pork and sausage. The brisket was sadly a bit on the dry side. Edit 6 years later: Disappointed in the service and quality. The pork ribs were tough. Not fall-off-the-bone as they had been in the past. Our waitress seemed frustrated at times and even rudely threw a plate at one of our party, it slid across the table she caught it before the food landed on her clothes or floor. For 15.95 you get 1 rib and 1 slice of turkey with sides. The turkey and potato salad were good.
My husband and I enjoyed a late lunch here on a Wednesday afternoon. He got a plate of pork ribs + brisket, and I had a small plate of the pulled pork, both of which came with coleslaw, potato salad, and baked beans.
