Decent place. Nothing spectacular nothing bad either. Some staff has no clue what you are asking but that's ok with a little paints patience you can muddle thru the order. Recommended for an easy lunnch or dinner. Good enough for a Familiar date or outing with the family after a little league game. Not if you are trying to empress a new gal or do something discussion for mom. Salsa served cold (preference thing) but has a good kick. Taste a little bought more than home made. Everything else is standard.

Friendly staff but a bit slow to serve & forget a couple of items, but overall, we will go there again.
Food was yummy & large portions.

Authentic Mexican food and great service.

They say they are open until 10:00 pm on website and on their door last two times we have gone once at 8:50pm and two weeks later at 9:00pm they told us sorry problem with kitchen. Second time I said really? Or yall just don’t want to serve at 9:00pm. Her response was…yes probably not going to serve after 8:30 anymore. Please don’t lie and change your hours on website and door. We drove 30 minutes each time to be turned away both times. Won’t be back!

When stuck with a small amount of restaurant choices, we were glad that El Rey was great! Free chips and salsa were good, and all our meals were delicious. Friendly staff and lively atmosphere.

The chips are not very good. Costco cheap chips. Relleno was very good and filled with shredded chicken. Everything was really good including wait staff but no Bueno on chips.

As a Mexican I LOVE this spot! Honestly love their prices and portions of food! Customer service is always great too!

Our favorite Mexican place. The food is nearly all good, and the portions are huge - not infrequently we end up with two meals out of one plate. The chips are great, they also have a verde salsa that you can ask for, though both the red and green are good. All the sauces on the dishes are good. And prices are generally reasonable. It can get full at peak times, and quite loud, but most of the time it is very relaxed and pleasant.

Stopped here for dinner with a friend from out of town. The place is bigger on the inside than it appears on the outside. Ran into another friend from town and spent the evening catching up. Ordered a gordita and it was 3 times bigger than I was expecting.

Some of the best breakfast tacos I've had! Chorizo egg and potatoes 10/10 bacon egg and potatoes 10/10 green salsa 10/10
