We had a great time. Doug was fantastic and made us feel right at home. He also gave my little girls a glass to let them drink their water out of a “fancy glass”. 10/10 would recommend for delicious wine, great views, and an overall excellent winery.
This place feels like such a hidden gem. The view is gorgeous and a true hill country experience. Additionally, the staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable which always elevates a tasting. Oh and the wine is delicious. My husband and I typically aren’t fans of Texas grown wines but we love their wine here. We always find a few bottles worth taking home. You won’t be disappointed stopping by. Their cellar is also worth checking out!
Had a fabulous time enjoying the beautiful hill country views and tasting delicious wines at Hawk’s Shadow Winery! We opted for the 6 wine tasting selection, and Chip was extremely courteous and explained each wine in detail. He also shared the family history of Hawk’s, the wine making process and gave us a tour of the cellar. Highly recommend Hawk’s for a lovely wine tasting afternoon in Dripping Springs!
