Extremely friendly owner and the food is incredible. Every time we eat here, we're reminded of how fresh and tasty the food is from How'z It. Nothing but incredible things to say about the owner and the food.

We’ve been here a few times and really love this place. I haven’t tried everything on the menu but the short rib plate (with rice and Mac salad) is my favorite so far. We order in advance, pick up the food and eat at the picnic tables outside. If you’ve never tried Hawaiian food in general (I hadn’t before coming here), you owe it to yourself to do so!Beyond just it tasting great- Portions are generous for the price, everything is freshly made, and the owner is really nice.Only heads up is that there’s no drinks (no water, no soda) for sale due to an arrangement they have with the proprietors next door- bring your own water if the place next door is closed.

Phenomenal hawaiian food and truly can't say enough great things. One of the best meals i've had in austin and the owner is extremely kind.

Ate in the shade of the oak trees, pleasant despite the hot day. The food was excellent and plentiful, will definitely be back for more!

It's a little hard to find, but totally worth it when you do. I was blown away with how tasty the food was. We tried the beef ribs and the chicken. Both were so flavorful, tender and delicious. If you're familiar with L&L Hawaiian or Q&Q Hawaiian BBQ, then just imagine that but with better ingredients and more tender meat. That's what this place is. My only (small) critique is that it'd be nice to have the meat on a bed of steamed cabbage. This will be my go to spot for Hawaiian good. So glad to have such a good spot near Dripping.

This honestly is one of the best meals I’ve had in Austin to date. The short ribs and mochiko chicken were incredible. And definitely don’t skip the macaroni salad - it’s spectacular!

This place is fantastic! We've been trying to find good Hawaiian food, and the other places we've been have not been great. Gave this place a try and was very impressed!! It's the best I've had!

So. Good. My husband and I tried the grilled chicken and short ribs and got a side of cucumber salad. All of it was delicious, hot and fresh! We can't wait to come back! There was plenty of outdoor tables to sit at and plenty of shade to cool off under.

We've tried everything and it's all delicious! Wish they were open longer hours. Highly recommend trying it out.

I add jalapeños en escabeche to make the pulled pork plate into corn tortilla tacos and to the pulled pork sandwich lunch special. This makes a perfect cross-cultural foodie fusion! ¡Buen provecho!Kid-friendliness: How’z It is in a shaded food truck park within a tree grove picnic area. Or, head into The Hub next door to eat inside.

This food was delicious!! The pulled pork sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich in teriyaki sauce were the bomb! The cucumber salad is super refreshing, and the Hawaiian "chicken nuggets" were soooo good! The shady outdoor seating is very nice on this beautiful day! My boys could play with sticks and leaves and i didn't have to worry about them being loud in a restaurant. Great experience overall! Really enjoyed it.
