The food is phenomenal!!! IF you can look past the uncertainty of things. When we went in, we weren’t even sure if they were open? Then we were told that they didn’t have a menu? So they directed us to a QR Code, BUT stipulated that not everything posted was available, as their menu constantly changes?

We had wanted to dine in… and we got the impression that didn’t happen often; even though they had a dining room area :o The kid who eventually tried to help us, didn’t really know they had available that day, and he explained that he wasn’t a waiter, but then again they didn’t really have any at the moment. So he finally went and found one of the owners, and she gave us a few suggestions and we went them.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had!!!! But I’m not too sure what we had (lol)… I do know the roasted veggies had tomatoes in them, the chicken kabobs were excellent, my husband loved the naan bread with cheese… and I’m not sure what kind of rice we had

Highly disappointed. The first time we came here about a year ago food was good but service was lacking. This time again service was lacking but food was tasteless. I let the front desk know that my food was lacking flavor, salt and overly oily. I was disappointed by the lack of hospitality at this place. Usually you offer a discount or apologize for the meal that did not turn out as expected , but neither was offered. It’s also a bit ridiculously overpriced for what it is, it’s the first Indian restaurant I go to where I have to order rice as a separate side. Would not be returning.

Dined twice, the second time was even better than the first. Excellent flavoring of traditional Indian cuisine, and the freshly baked Naan is worth the trip alone. If you enjoy Indian food, don't miss this fine eatery.

We had a great first time experience. The butter chicken was amazing. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. 100% recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

Ordered last week on too good to go.
Not worth it. Value should be $18 worth about $5. Hope the owner doesn't respond with anything Covid excuse. Staying Anonymous Yes not customer on your list.

Its a great place to get some Indian food in the hill country. Courteous and friendly owners. Food was decent. I felt the naan was a bit pricey for the size. The gluten free bread is a great option to have. Basically its a besan chilla - which was very good, flavorful and filling. If you’re eating it with a curry dish the flavors would mix up but that’s a personal preference. Overall cozy place to get some nice Indian comfort food. Will return when we are in the area.

Clean place with not much atmosphere. Bollywood videos were constantly playing on the big screen.

Young woman server seemed very uninterested in our order.

Food was barely lukewarm. Roti was the only thing that seemed recently prepared, it was very good. Returned one dish to be heated up and it was better but not great

As we left, the apparent owner asked how we liked the food. We said the spices were good but the food was almost cold. He replied "OH you must like things right off of the stove. We prepare dishes and keep them under a warmer. Next time you should ask if you want them hot."

There will not be a next time.

We went there on a Saturday with high hopes, encouraged by the good reviews and recommendation from a friend. So it was disappointing that we had a poor experience.

We arrived at 7:40. Sensitive to the 8:00 closing time, we asked if it was ok to come in and were enthusiastically welcomed to sit.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Very clean, nicely laid out and a comfortable ambience. The consistent issue in our visit was rude service.

Our first appetizer - samosas - arrived quickly in a basket. But we had no plates, silverware or napkins. After about 2 minutes we raised our hand to request them and got a huffy “I’m getting them now”. We got most of it - but no knife (which made them a little awkward to eat) and no drinks.

Our entrees came in appropriate time. When placing it on the table, our waitress said “your Diet Coke is coming”. I said “and we’re also waiting for a beer and tea”, which got another huffy “yes, they’re coming too”. (I don’t think they were).

The food was good. However, at around 8:00 - closing time - another staff person (maybe the owner) came and asked if she could start clearing our plates. My wife was still eating but no problem, other than she kinda hovered, giving a sense that they really wanted us to finish. By that point we just wanted to leave.

Good food and a nice venue totally overshadowed by the spotty service and rude staff.

I am not generally misled by Google restaurant reviews, but this time they missed the mark. I had high hopes and was disappointed in every way.

And, for the record, I’ve been eating Indian food all over the world for decades - it’s one of my favorite cuisines.

Menu: please print paper menus, it’s a service to customers. Scrolling through tons of options on your phone is frustrating and unnecessary. And, don’t use COVID or infection control as an excuse.

Food: Baingun Bharta was really good, give credit where it’s due, but the Palak Paneer was probably the worst I’ve had in years. It was bland and simply didn’t taste good. I had to throw it away, $20 (entree+rice) in the trash.
Additionally, please allow customers to substitute paneer for chicken in popular dishes. I haven’t been to an Indian restaurant in more than a decade that didn’t allow this substitute.

Naan - the shape, taste, texture is identical to Trader Joe’s frozen packaged naan - not saying that’s what they serve but I love TJ’s naan and eat it all the time - I’d swear it’s the same.

Rice - you charge $4 to add to a dish? At every Indian restaurant I’ve been to across the world it’s standard to include it with an entree. If you don’t want to include it, at least price it $1-$2…but $4?

All the above issues could be over looked in a restaurant with 4.0 or lower rating, but when the rating is 4.8 you expect better options, better service, better value, and better tasting food.

Vegetarian options: Server refused to substitute paneer for chicken in popular dishes, so unlike most Indian restaurants, the menu is limited when it comes to vegetarian options.

Food was good, I didn't want anything else on the menus besides the "grab and go" portion on the menu. They came up to us and said "it's for leaving only, you can't dine in with it" and was either telling me to leave with it or choose something else. I left with it because it's what I wanted. Service is horrible.

The most bland and oily Indian curries i have ever tasted. Every curry we had was watered down, oily, and tasteless..The rice, although tasty, doesn’t come with the entrees. The naan is the best part of this establishment. Maybe the food is different when you dine in and the to go is leftovers, or the cook/chef wasn’t working that day. Something was WAY off. After seeing all of these 5 star reviews I expected more.

Horrible to-go service, they forgot to give me utensils & a plate to mix my rice & chicken. Common courtesy, lady that works at the register said I should have asked for it instead of owning up to her mistake of providing such essential items for a simple to-go order. I gave her a recommendation to include utensils & plates for every future to-go order for the convenience of the client to avoid bad reviews.

The restaurant served overly sweet, mostly frozen food. Overall, the experience was disappointing and felt unprofessional. Avoid.
