The service is great at this establishment! Great atmosphere, great people working there, and there are often artists who come sing/play the piano there. Oh, and they have wine! I would highly recommend.

Whoops… I accidentally ate it all! Lol. It’s savory, not salty, fresh and delicious - The best bruschetta I think I’ve had here in Texas! And there’s a lot of mozz, tomato, onion and herbs. Great light/early meal for 1-2 people. Price is on point. You’ll be happy.

I really wanted to love this place. We went here a couple weeks ago with some friends. Before we went there, I called to make sure it was okay to have a well behaved dog on a leash with us. They said of course. When we arrived, it was a bit crowded and we saw another dog (elderly dog) in one corner with the owners, so we chose the other side of the room to not disturb the dog. We got a bottle of wine, which was decent, and some appetizers. About 30 min in, a medium sized dog came barreling in from the back door with no leash. It was clear the dog was a puppy and friendly, but with our dog with us (over 100 lbs) and an elderly dog in the back as well, the dog had no boundaries and we were concerned someone would get hurt. No one at the bar seemed to care that the dog was doing zoomies around the bar. I grabbed the collar of the loose dog and asked whose dog it was and the bartender pointed to a man who just walked in. Neither the bar tender nor owner of the dog cared that this dog was jumping all over people and loose (mind you they serve food, we had glass on the tables, etc). The bar tender said the dog’s name was Nellie (or something) and she’s a regular. The owner just sat at the bar and drank while his dog was going nuts. The elderly dog’s owners came up and asked if the owner needed a leash for his dog because it was scaring her dog (leashed and behaving in a corner). The owner said no. So this poor couple who had been quietly minding their business in the back with their old dog said, “that’s fine. We will take our leashed dog and leave.” Neither the owner nor bar tender even apologized to this customer. Then, the owner of the loose dog grabbed a long cable and tied his dog up outside in the 40 degree cold to the front porch area of the bar where people walk in. That poor dog was tangled up on the front porch using some long cable line as he went back in to drink. I’m not sure if this guy lives there and chains up his sweet dog, or if he’s a regular or what. But the way this was all handled was shocking to me and many others at the bar. We won’t be returning.
