First of All Jorge is the Man!!! From the time we started the single barrel tasting experience nothing but excellence!!! It's rare that the Information, Bourbon, and Food are exceptional but geese they nailed it!!! I have to mention "Jo" as well she handled the second part of the experience and made it truly amazing!! You can tell by the bottle how the rest of the tour went!!! Lastly I Appreciate You Granny Alice!!!!!

We rented Treaty Oak Distilling for a rehearsal dinner and welcome party for my son’s wedding. The staff members were gracious and very helpful in allowing us to try their food and drinks in order to make decisions for the event. During the event itself, the staff provided excellent food and service, and went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome. I would totally recommend Treaty Oak Distilling for any events you might have!

Right when we got there we went to the cocktail bar and had amazing service by two gentleman. We then made our way to the outdoor seating area under the pavilion where we were immediately greeted by our waiter and said he'd bring us out menus asap! 30 minutes goes by... no waiter. We flag him down and he tells us they've put a "hold on food for 20 minutes" and he'd be back once the hold was up. We thought okay we don't mind waiting, but at this point we were getting pretty hungry. He goes around to larger tables taking food orders, I see other waitstaff taking orders at a table of 20 people or so. FINALLY he comes back around to us another 30 minutes later and tells us the kitchen has stopped serving food. Safe to say we were really upset about the false promises made and the horrible service. We know it wasn't completely our servers fault, but we were really hoping they'd make up for it somehow. Unfortunately it was such a crappy experience we won't be back

Cool distillery with great selection of whiskeys & cocktails. Perfect place for a group hangout with food options & lots of space for kids to run around!!!

Used to love this place but they changed the way you order. Felt like we had to convince them to try to serve us :( food and beer were good but we won’t be returning because it was too frustrating to get service.

Probably more fun if you go on a day that isn’t a Sunday. The restaurant and mercantile were the only things open and they couldn’t sell us bottles (I guess Texas law says you can’t sell bottles on Sunday?) but still worth checking out. Kind of seemed like they were going for a music festival vibe. I’d suggest going on a Saturday.

Treaty oak distilling is a super cute place! The big open fields with lots of flowers and gardens and a big play area for kiddos. They have lots of different buildings on property that serve different types of drinks and food. I absolutely love their mojito on tap! It is delicious!! Watch out though, they're strong ;) The service is pretty good, I've never had any issues with the staff. It can be confusing your first time there not knowing where to go to order drinks or food, some better signage would be helpful. I do find the prices at Treaty Oak to be a bit higher than the other distilleries in the area so I took a star away for that. I will review the restaurant on their separate Yelp! Page

I wasn't familiar with Treaty Oak Distilling prior to visiting last summer. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. When we arrived, we walked around the grounds and realized the only thing open was the Mercantile Bar. The Mercantile Bar is not very large and does not have much seating. The building did not have great air circulation so it was warm and stuffy. It was also miserably hot in the restrooms which are located in a separate area on the premises not too far from the Mercantile. There were a lot of people waiting to get drinks at the bar and there were only two bartenders working. The bartenders didn't seem to have any sense of urgency with making drinks. My friend and I waited at least 15 minutes before we were able to order. We almost left because of the long wait. When the bartender got to us, he apologized. Treaty Oak offers whiskey and gin. I ordered the Garden Rita which is a gin cocktail with cucumber, cilantro, lime, and simple. It was floral and the botanicals were prominent. It was a refreshing beverage, especially on a hot summer day. My friend had the Antique Gin Old Fashioned. As much as I love gin, I do not like Antique Gin so I didn't try his drink. We were able to share a table with some other patrons, but I would say half of the patrons were standing due to the limited seating. The parking lot and the walkways are made of huge gravel rocks. There were some ladies wearing heels that had a difficult time walking on the gravel. The gravel left a chalky residue on our shoes which was incredibly annoying. Treaty Oak has potential, but it wasn't as fun as another distillery that we visited earlier in the day. I wouldn't mind coming back to eat at Alice's, take a tour, or listen to some live music. If I visit again, it will definitely not be in the middle of the summer.

I'm pretty disappointed in this place. Years ago it was the best distillery in a 200 mile radius. Today, they only make batched cocktails and the vibe is kinda off. When you go to a distillery, you expect to pay for nice craft cocktails that are made to order (with the exception of maybe a few batched ones. Sadly every single cocktail is batched here now... even the old fashioned. The food is alright but seems as if something is missing. Not to mention it smells like a mixture of compost and rotten eggs outside. Must have gotten new management

Man, it really pains me to do this because I never leave negative reviews. The only reason I’m doing it is because I really used to love this place. In fact, when people would ask me what my favorite distillery was, I would say “Treaty Oak”. The reason I’m leaving this review is not to detract from the business, but in hopes that the ownership will take note. I’m not sure what has happened over the last year or two but the quality of Alice’s restaurant has really gone down. When it first opened, it had some of the best brisket I had ever had in my life. When I went last night I was really disappointed in the operation of it all. I don’t mind paying a premium price for food, but the quality has to match the price, and it used to. The drinks have changed, the way you order has changed, and the way the food tastes has definitely changed. Although I still do love their bourbon, the drinks were very subpar. I don’t know if the quality of food that is purchased has gone down, or the level of talent has gone down, or both but something is way off. Also, I know mosquito treatment is pricey, but the reason we didn’t order more was because we were getting attacked outside nonstop. Let me sprinkle a little positivity and say that the staff was nice and the music was good. Please take this negative feedback as a way to improve and fix what’s broken. I do want to continue to see the business thrive and that’s the only reason I’m taking the time to leave this review.
