We enjoyed our pork saltembocca, but the lasagna was a little too embellished with cheese.

First time here and honestly the staff alone makes the trip worth it. Our server Sean was fantastic and very diligent on checking in on us. Everyone in general we encountered was just very welcoming. Appetizers especially the brisket suppli is a must try.

Great playground for young kids, turf and mulch.
Food is mediocre at best though.
Pinot grigio was awful, definitely too old.
Cesar salad is heavily dressed with a not creamy dressing and the croutons are kinda stale on a Sunday as was the garlic bread.
The lasagna had a ton of cheese, pasta is homemade and okay.
The hot honey pizza is unremarkable, but not bad.
Kids shells and meatballs were good.
Patio is great for watching kiddos.

The atmosphere was pleasant, management appeared courteous, and the food was enjoyable. However, the hostess’s greeting could benefit from additional customer service training. A warmer and more welcoming first impression would help ensure guests—especially locals—feel valued and continue supporting a business where their patronage is truly appreciated.

First time dining at Vespa Rossa, went on Saturday evening at 5:30pm. Lots of kids running around and babies at tables. Very loud and active in the room and outside. Did not know they had a kids' playground in the back, or that their main dining room was closed. We had a party of 4 at a very small square table near the bar. Food was well prepared, hot, and came out quickly, main courses came before we had finished salads. Everything a la carte, could have offered bread on table, or even garlic bread with meal. Seemed like an add-on that should have been included. Was hoping for a quiet, high end Italian meal and conversation with friend, but it was hard to hear each other and noisy. Quality food, but overpriced for portions. Unlikely to go back, but might explore takeout.

This may be the best Italian food in Austin area. Service was 10/10 and the speed to table was above reproach. Heck, we had to stay an extra 15min to finish our drinks. Perfect Valentine dinner.

So, kinda crazy night for them. Super busy and main dining room down for remodeling. 20 min wait for a table. Apps (calamari) were amazing. Our waitress was amazing. Food was amazing.
In spite of them taking 15 minutes for cocktails, apps served with no napkins or silverware. So, kind of a fun night. The food made up for it. Top 5 best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. I will be back. Might bring my own silverware but I will return.

First timer. Main dining room was being remodeled. The second dining room was open , but it was bit noisy. Fortunately it was a nice day to eat outside on their patio. They had put up wind breakers which was nice as it was pretty breezy. The music was a bit loud, so the server turned it down immediately upon request. The food and drinks were very good, our server, Beau, was very attentive. I hope we get a chance to go back soon.

I really wanted this to be good because we need more in Drip. I went on a busy weekend when half the restaurant was blocked off because of storm damage and I considered this when writing this review. The waiter didn’t greet us for 10 minutes but was at the table next to us repeatedly. This would have made us leave but we waited 45 minutes to get in. The food was ok. The chicken parm had burnt edges. Reminded me of CFS. Flavor was mid. Lasagna was good. Brisket cheese balls which is the house specialty was not as flavorful as any one of the items should have been.

If you are looking for standard American food that does not taste that great then this is the restaurant for you.

I was looking forward to eating Italian food. But again, if you are into going to a restaurant where food is not great, then this is the spot.

Extra star for some effort in the design of the restaurant, but overall tacky.

They probably use seed oils (again, it’s an American restaurant, not Italian).
