Love to stop in...food is yummy and worth the drive
I'm so disappointed in the service we have had the last 3 times we had breakfast there. Very very slow! Today we had breakfast to start our 25th anniversary off. Only 5 people in the restaurant. Still the food took a long time. But what made me the most upset was I never received a refill on my coffee. That is truly unacceptable. Every time I looked for our server she was in the kitchen checking her phone or counting her tips. I just decided to leave and believe me she did not get a tip. Not sure if we will ever return and it's sad. It's a nice restaurant with good food but the service needs to match!

Twice now I’ve gotten my biscuit and it was very hard dry and over cooked. Usually soft and delicious. I guess those were old and someone didn’t feel like making fresh. And the eggs on the buffet are awful. Are those real eggs or mostly water?

This was a down home place to eat. We weren't expecting it to be extremely busy on a Sunday about 10:30, so the wait staff were unprepared. We waited 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee, while they changed out the breakfast All-you-can-eat to the lunch Buffett.
Food was good but not what was expected.

Our group of eight from Laurel Glen at Stephenville visited Granny Clark’s today and all had the blue plate special. Here’s what we had to say: Nancy said: “perfectly seasoned carrots and beans”; Sharon raved about the amazing homemade yeast rolls; Lila said “I had the chicken fried steak, and my whole plate was all really good;”; Jan said the chocolate cake was his favorite; Amy went Gaga over the beef tips and rice and Anne asked if she could order and pick up yeast rolls for Thanksgiving! Miles and Sarah welcomed us warmly (and yes, the rolls can be ordered and picked up for your Thanksgiving meal at home!)
Great deal for the fried chicken buffet on Wednesday. Good fried chicken and fried liver.

This place was awful. The eggs on buffet look like instant eggs or mre eggs. Pancakes in the thirty minutes I was there never showed up even though I was promised numerous times. Gravy was fair on buffet. Everything else stunk. Do not go here.

We were there 40 minutes and pancakes were still not brought out to buffet. One lady was running around trying to take care of everyone. Food subpar at best. Definitely would not go again. Very disappointed!!!

We went in there today and I wasn’t impressed felt like we really wasn’t welcomed even by the female owner instead of embarrassing my wife I let them eat and I went outside to sit.

My brother and I went in for lunch. When we sat down it took a little while for the server to get to us which wasn't a huge deal. We both eat small portions so when she got there I asked to see a menu and was never brought one. When we got our drinks I asked for menus again and was told that pretty much everyone eats the buffet. We were running out of time and just wanted to make our next appointment. I told her that we needed to eat and would just go with the buffet. She then said that it I really insisted I could have a menu. 😔 We went thru the buffet and they were out of the meat we wanted and was told that it would only be 5 minutes. 15-20 minutes later and CFS finally made it out. We ended up filling up on potatoes and bread because we needed to eat. I've never had to spend 32+ dollars on a couple of potatoes!! Extremely disappointed and felt the waitress just didn't want to do any extra work. I've been in the restaurant business for over 35+ years before retiring and can spot someone who doesn't care
