Stopped in on Monday, within an hour of closing for dinner and a spot to catch the NFL game. This is a great spot, not a chain. The food is great, the service fantastic, good drinks, comfortable setting.
I imagine the locals know this spot, but if you're passing through Dumas, as I was, give it a stop. The menu is large and varied.

I have been in Dumas for a few weeks working. I went to Roadhouse the first day of my arrival and only tried to eat elsewhere a few times but Roadhouse by FAR is the best food. I wish I had one of these in near Houston because this food is “tasty” and flat out very good. I have rated just about everything on their menu now and each bite is fresh and delicious.
Now the servers; they SERVE with a friendly attitude and I even get a few hugs and always a handshake.
My highest recommendation to a GREAT group of people with TASTY fresh food. Don’t forget the homemade cobblers. YUMM YUMM. I can’t even get close to eating all the food they serve. I make my mouth happy by eating there and if want to make your stomach happy every serving is plentiful enough for two people.
PS. The batter actually STICKS to the chicken fried steak!!! 😁

Best chicken fry in Dumas don't skip the fries 🍟 amazing fresh fast service. The people serving were very accommodating. I ordered the wrong food at first and they joyfully made me something else! Managers checked on us and it really felt like being in a western movie. Great atmosphere wonderful staff and all around great lunch specials and the Rolls ARE FREE WITH BUTTER we ate 3 each haha very nice experience! Give this Roadhouse a try ASAP!
