Clean linens , decent water pressure. Not too much noise from the traffic as motel sits back from road and doors are on the side of the building not facing traffic . Bed seems very comfortable.

After a miserable experience with a Motel 6 in Amarillo (Motel 6 - Amarillo West), I drove the 45 minutes to Dumas and the young lady at the desk had me in a nice and clean room in less than 10 minutes. AWESOME 👌.

The only review you need to read: This is a newly remodeled, old building that is rough around the edges. It is very much a typical Motel 6, do not expect anything nicer. This place has seen some things and you can tell.
With that said, a few good things: - The service at the front desk was excellent upon our arrival, but not as friendly when checking out. - The room was mostly clean-ish. Well, let's just say bare minimum acceptably clean, but there were a few issues. - It was not busy at all, and thus quiet. - It was a reasonable value all things considered.
The bad: - It's rough around the edges and it shows through the newness. - We had strands of hair still on the wall of the shower from somebody previous to us, and the tile floors were sticky (and the grout was black) - The bathroom towels were tiny and thin - Everything was very basic/bare minimum at best
Overall it was definitely a vibe and an experience, but we also definitely would never stay here again. Almost worth only two stars instead of three, but hey, memories made.

The room was very dirty and smelled like urine. The room I was given looked nothing like what they promoted. Upon arrival I was asked if I wanted a room on the 1st floor or the 2nd. I responded that I just wanted a clean room. There were drains throughout the entire room, the bathroom was heavily stained and the ceiling was was just hanging by a couple of screws. There was even a hole from what seems like a leak on the ceiling. I was definitely given a dirty room. I’ll post pictures. The bed sheets all had animal hair as well so that was gross. You could also hear everyone’s conversations so we woke up atleast 4 times throughout the night.

I was very nervous to stay at another Motel 6 since we had just stayed in one the was the absolute worst experience ever, But I will say; this is by FAR the BEST Motel 6 we have ever stayed in. My husband occasionally has to travel for work & my daughter & I will go with him, & our stay here has been absolutely phenomenal.. The rooms are nice & spacious, everything is freshly updated, the management is amazing/extremely accommodating. I have zero complaints & definitely recommend anyone to stay here if passing through or here for work. This will definitely be our go to place to stay whenever in the area.
