I'm not sure how I found terrible Mexican food in Texas, but I absolutely did! The carnitas meat was full of fat & grissle. My order of elite was literally heated, canned corn served in a Styrofoam cup. The torta was slimy, and gross.

I had seen recently on Facebook that the restaurant had new tables that paid tribute to all the Dalhart local businesses and it made me think I hadn't been there in a while, so we decided to go for an early dinner. We ordered tacos and drinks. The service was friendly and fast, the drinks were cold. However, my dinner was interrupted by pests! The flies in the restaurant were in the dozens and they were relentless. On top of that the person I went with went to grab a plastic fork for his meal and found a cockroach in the utensil bin. While it outwardly looked clean, there are some hidden troubles that need to be dealt with before I return.

As they close at 10 PM and at 9 PM I arrived and the door was already closed and the phone took a long time to answer or they didn't answer.
