Dumas used to be just a stop on our way to Colorado from DFW. Now, we have another reason...Toppled Turtle Brewing! First, the pizza. Brick oven, fresh ingredients, great flavor, delicious! Now, the beer; great selection. Get a flight, try a selection. My favorite? The Box Turtle Box. There's a reason its award winning! We will be back!
Not sure what to make of this place. The pizza was really good, but the experience was awkward. There seemed to be a working brewery of sorts when you enter, then a bar, then a coffee shop, followed by a storage hallway with restrooms, then a pizza place in the very rear. There also seemed to be little to no connection between these different “businesses”. Bar staff was non-existent; a guy that never looked up from his phone the entire time. Next time your trip has you driving through Dumas, TX, this is a must stop at place. Whether you just need a break from sitting to grab a beer and stretch, or you’re craving some pizza, this place will not disappoint! We stopped in on our trip to Angel Fire for a beer and some pizza. Pizza next door is Ninja turtle themed names. The RAF was amazing! I tried several beers but the Hannah was definitely my favorite! Nice break from a long drive. We will be adding this to our must...
