10/10 recommend eating here. Stumbled upon it for a quick dinner - ended up sitting at the bar and had THE BEST service by Sam the bartender. The food far exceeded our expectations. The cocktails were masterfully prepared. The owners came out and introduced themselves to us.
They clearly take pride is serving high quality food.
Will for sure be a regular place for us to eat out at.

The wagyu beef burgers are good. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. The Mexican sunrise drink I had was okay. The service was a bit slow but overall, it was decent.
Our waitress was friendly and provided great customer service. The Lone Star Burger had a great flavor, and I appreciated the variety of cheese options available. While the potato wedges were a bit cold, they were well-seasoned and overall enjoyable. Although I didn’t order a drink, it’s nice to know they have a full bar available.

My son loved his burger, I on the other hand had the lime chicken tacos and they were extremely dry and flavorless, the queso wasn't great either. I would try it again and have a burger.

Slow service. I got there with my party first and the people after me got attended to before me. There was very bad vibes, not even a hi or even a welcome. We had a dirty table too but chose it because we wanted to be seen from the window. Anyways, the food makes up for it but it’s always the same lady making me not want to go again. Chef deserves 5 stars. Even though I didn’t get to eat this time because we were not going to wait any longer. My past experiences are never like this, only sometimes. But this time it pissed me off.

The worst hamburger I’ve EVER had in my long life; 1 piece of lettuce and a very thin slice of tomato. Called in our order and it was supposed to be ready for curb pick up in 35 minutes, we parked out front and waited another 20 minutes. So almost an hour for two burgers and two fries. $21.00 and I had to find something else to eat when I got home because the burger was so bad.
Another day I went inside the restaurant and ordered the fried brussels sprouts; burnt and inedible.
Those are the only two times I’ve tried to eat food from here. 👎🏻

Bartender was taking shots all night not very attentive and on top of that she charged me for stuff I didn’t get and that other people were ordering very unprofessional she doesn’t need to be drinking while working if she cannot keep track of everything

Mudhook is a great local spot in the heart of Duncanville, owned by a local, frequented by local residents, and serving a solid assortment of food and drinks. The wait staff is friendly, the location is convenient, the setting is solidly casual and comfortable, and features both indoor and outdoor seating when the weather allows. Whenever I come from out of state to visit friends here in town, this is one of my must-go spots.
Parking: Some street parking and plenty of parking around the back.
