My son loved his burger, I on the other hand had the lime chicken tacos and they were extremely dry and flavorless, the queso wasn't great either. I would try it again and have a burger.

Slow service. I got there with my party first and the people after me got attended to before me. There was very bad vibes, not even a hi or even a welcome. We had a dirty table too but chose it because we wanted to be seen from the window. Anyways, the food makes up for it but it’s always the same lady making me not want to go again. Chef deserves 5 stars. Even though I didn’t get to eat this time because we were not going to wait any longer. My past experiences are never like this, only sometimes. But this time it pissed me off.

Their food is okay, but they take forever. The waiter is extremely rude. Try to avoid going in the evenings if you decide to try it.

Bartender was taking shots all night not very attentive and on top of that she charged me for stuff I didn’t get and that other people were ordering very unprofessional she doesn’t need to be drinking while working if she cannot keep track of everything

Mudhook is a great local spot in the heart of Duncanville, owned by a local, frequented by local residents, and serving a solid assortment of food and drinks. The wait staff is friendly, the location is convenient, the setting is solidly casual and comfortable, and features both indoor and outdoor seating when the weather allows. Whenever I come from out of state to visit friends here in town, this is one of my must-go spots.Parking: Some street parking and plenty of parking around the back.

Small D'ville bar with food and drinks. Mainly burgers and tacos I think. We enjoyed it.

Horrible service! My family ordered 1st, then I ordered the spicy fried shrimp with fried pickles, both from the appetizer menu. Everyone's food came out, mine came out last and incorrect. She gave me a fried CHICKEN sandwich that was plain with strips inside the bun with pickles stacked on top. I asked if that was the shrimp, she said no its chicken. I told her I ordered the fried spicy shrimp. Waited an extra 10-15 min still NO fried pickles. She came back with the shrimp. I told her I had also gotten the pickles. She brought me REGULAR pickled pickles on the side. At that point my family was done eating.

Loved the burger fries and beers. One of best-selling, if not the best, crafted burgers around Duncanville, Texas.

Just went this past weekend for drinks with a friend.. We met up about 8pm, and it wasn't that busy.. We started inside, but the barstools aren't the most comfortable.. The outside patio/atmosphere is nice, and the music selections were good. We just didn't care for the drinks.. I got a pineapple Jarritos with tequila, and my peer got a ranch water. They were mid.. I'll probably return to try food one day.

It’s a cool hole in the wall type of place that had some very good burgers! I was impressed with the service tone it took since I only had a 30 minute lunch and wanted good food without the risk of making me wait. The burger was excellent, juicy and delicious, the fries were fresh and seasoned well. My only complaint was the cost of the drink. I had a single shot mixed drink of crown apple and redbull and the charged me individually for each component of my mixed drink which totaled it out to 13$. Considering it was a weekday during lunchtime hours I thought they’d be some sort of special they’d offer to drive up business, I spend about 8-11$ a round in Deep Ellum during the weekends and half that during the weekdays so being hit with that in broad daylight hurt abit. I really like this place but wouldn’t make this a regular place for drinks unless I come here with a group and money wasn’t an issue. I did like the jukebox they had! Not perfect but it’s a solid choice for the area

Came here because of the reviews. Didn't quite match up. Got the Best Cheeseburger.... Def not the best, meat was bland and buns were cold. The cook seemed to be on a date cause he'd be out every few min to sit at the table next to us, no wonder the food wasn't all that.

Burger was dry and subpar, even when dining in. Best part of this place was the beer. Do not come here to eat.
